Australian Politics And Large White Crosses Dominating The Landscape

In Lunar Stories by Lynda Hill

Tony Abbott Sworn In and progressedThere’s been a big movement in politics here in Australia with the resignation of the Speaker Of The House, Bronwyn Bishop. Being Speaker, Bronwyn Bishop is the third most powerful political figure in Australia.

When I looked at the chart for Tony Abbott as he was being sworn in, I was gobsmacked by the Sabian Symbols. Extraordinary. As we Australians know, Abbott is Jesuit-educated, and is known rather widely as the ‘Mad Monk’. Many others in his ministry, along with Bill Shorten, the opposition leader, etc, etc – an extraordinary line-up of Jesuit educated politicians, with two Bishops (Bronwyn and Julie) the Speaker Of The House and the Foreign Minister – a dazzling line up of religious artefacts 🙂

The chart for swearing in has the Sun degree of Virgo 26: A BOY WITH A CENSER SERVES NEAR THE PRIEST AT THE ALTAR

So many have wondered, seriously wondered, how on earth Tony Abbott became Prime Minister of Australia. It is a great mystery, although it is obvious why the LNP one. Labor lost it. Tony Abbott became the priest, when, really, he is just a very naughty, petulant youngster. And all the scandals that have come out through the Royal Commission Into Institutional Child Sexual Abuse… with the Church. Ugh. Here’s the Keywords and CautionsSenators and MPs being sworn in for this degree:

Keywords: Youthful attitudes. Doing what’s simple, with silence and devotion. Participating in the toil but not the glory. Altars and shrines. Incense. Burning candles. Passing down wisdom and knowledge. Looking up to those in power. Work experience. Apprenticeships. Feelings of awe and respect. Religious and social ceremonies. Issues of authority and the abuse of it.

The Caution: Being dominated by spiritual hierarchy that is devised by human rationalism. Doing “lesser things” to avoid responsibility. Not taking a place of authority when one could or should. Feeling not good enough because of inexperience. Someone always hanging around. Incompetence. Refusal to take instruction. Sexual abuse. Betrayal of beliefs. The church overpowering one’s life.

So, first cross.

The Moon is on Pisces 7: ILLUMINATED BY A SHAFT OF LIGHT, A LARGE CROSS LIES ON ROCKS SURROUNDED BY SEA AND MIST.

Second cross. There’s only three ‘cross’ Symbols in the 360 degrees.

Keywords: Renewed dedication after loss. Looking for signs of hope and recovery. Coming to terms with loss or failure. Rocks, mist, howling winds on coasts. Crosses of faith. Important and substantial sacrifices. Being devastated by events. Being in the “spotlight” in difficult times. Finding the way through the dark. The need for sacrifice. Alternative religions. Stepping outside religious boundaries.

The Caution: Lost faith. Hopes dashed. Giving up. Being shattered by the constraints of life. Depression. Feeling like one is being sacrificed, sometimes for nothing. Unable to see through the fog. Scorn, persecution and attack because of religious or social reasons. Hopelessness. Things grim, dark and foreboding.

This is the Moon degree. Hello, have we been feeling it? Jesus wept.

Neptune is conjunct (together with) the Moon. It’s on Pisces 4 – this is hysterical – helicopter much?

Pisces 4: HEAVY CAR TRAFFIC LINKING TWO SEASIDE RESORTS

Keywords: Going with the flow. Running back and forth. Having to move continually. Pollution and car exhaust. Rush hour and road-rage. Plans for arrivals and departures. Public holidays. Traffic jams. Traffic banking up. Having trouble making left hand turns. Detours. Packing and unpacking. Luggage. Travel itineraries. Impasses. Nervous systems. Urine therapy. Constant phone calls. Switchboard jams. Heat and smog.

The Caution: Creating barriers. Constant traffic stopping the possibility of real human interchange. Claustrophobia. Feeling like there is no escape. Exhaustion due to everyday hustle and bustle. Running out of fuel. Accidents. Taking the long way round. Blockages.

Moon/Neptune conjunct. The people not being listened to, feeling cast adrift and lost, dreams shattered, visions or nightmares, what was thought the ‘great white hope’ proves to be a horror story. Of course, Moon/Neptune can be far better and more rewarding than that, but this fits the bill for this government.

Moon/Neptune can bring the feeling of not being listened to, sacrifices, raping of the earth, pollution, the fear of climate change, the sense of loss… all those things.

When I saw this line-up of the Moon and Neptune, I knew something big was going to happen when Neptune was transiting the Moon – which it is now and will until the end of November (chaos reigns) – we will no doubt see the demise of Tony Abbott as Prime Minister and the Liberal Party are bound to be in chaos as many won’t want to install Malcolm Turnbull, surely the only one that the public would back. Neptune will be transiting the Moon – The Large Cross Lying On Rocks until November (I realise it is moments of degree off actually going over Pisces 6+, but that is, to my way of thinking, splitting hairs).

This is very accurate chart for the timing of this event, and, at the Mid Heaven (status and career), we have Virgo 2 – the third ‘cross’ Symbol. Tony Abbott’s government got the Sun, the Moon and the MC on all three cross degrees.

What a coup for the Catholics on board the good ship Abbott (with the Bishops directing affairs).

The Quest Symbol (degree following) of the Sun is Virgo 27 – and this makes me laugh – is ARISTOCRATIC ELDERLY LADIES DRINKING AFTERNOON TEA IN A WEALTHY HOME. It has been the progressed Sun for the last year – the first nine months it was the BOY SERVING NEAR THE PRIEST AT THE ALTER, and then, twelve months ago, it moved onto the ‘old ladies with lots of money’ degree. Classic.

Keywords: Quite knowing atmosphere. Enjoying the company of others. Special privileges. Taking time off to relax, confident that all is ok. The elite versus the masses. The appreciation of culture. Beauty and wealth. Gossip and chatter. Afternoon teas, brunches and lunches. Charity drives. Being in the group. Exclusivity vs. open armed acceptance. Ladies at the club. Girls having fun. Knowing how to entertain. Joy in social communion. Servants. Fine furnishings. Fine china. Silver cutlery. Candles. Bridge games. Toasting abundance. Tea, coffee, cake and biscuits. Afternoon sources. Soirees.

The Caution: Snobbery and elitism. Always having to go to others or have them come to you. People expecting others to do all the work while they just sit around and chat. Mindless talk. Indulgent behavior. Having little to think about or do. Exclusion of others as not being worthy. Loneliness. Being rowdy and unkempt. Uncouth behaviour. “Hitting the bottle”.

And add this – the degrees opposite the Sun for the swearing in – the Sun is on Virgo 26: The Boy Serving Near The Priest At The Altar and two degrees smack opposite are Pisces 25: The Purging Of The Priesthood and Pisces 26: The New Moon Reveals That It’s Time For People To Go Ahead With Their Different Projects (after ‘the purging’)… each time there is an opposition to the Sun in the chart, it comes from the priesthood degree. This is extraordinary stuff… this swearing in chart contains an amazing amount of ‘religious’ Symbols.

There’s more to all of this… it is extraordinary. I have cast the chart on my site and calculated the Sabian Symbol report (which you too, if you have a site membership) can do for any chart… here’s the link. You can read it here.

Astounding. Where’s the champers?  https://sabiansymbols.com/shared/
