Elsie Wheeler’s Birthday: A Celebration Of A Gifted Psychic Medium
Today is Elsie Wheeler’s birthday (Elsie Wheeler is the fabulous and beautiful spiritualist medium who gave birth to the Sabian Symbols). She was such a beautiful soul.
Confined her entire life to a wheelchair, it is ironic and sad that her name was Wheeler. She never married. Her Sun degree is Virgo 12: A BRIDE WITH HER VEIL SNATCHED AWAY – with her ability to ‘see’ into realms that others could not, she had amazing vision. I feel to share here some of the rather strange correlations in names that happened in my research about Elsie. There are many more, but here’s a few:
Elsie’s mother’s maiden name was Louisa Hill – my name’s Lynda Hill
Elsie lived in San Diego with a man named Frank Baxter. My mother married a man named Ian Baxter when I was 7 and, at the age of 10 and 11, I wanted to change my name by deed poll to Baxter.
Many years later, my mother married again, this time to a man named Frank.
Elsie’s maternal grandmother was Helen Hill. When I gave birth to my daughter, Jessica, in 1983 – some years before I got into studying the Sabian Symbols and many years before investigating Elsie’s family, my ex-husband and I named our daughter Jessica Helen Hill, and wondered why we were giving her the name Helen. I well remember thinking that one day I’d know why we gave her the middle name of Helen. When I found that Elsie’s grandmother’s name was Helen Hill, I was quite amazed.
Frank Baxter died after being hit by a bus in San Diego in 1948. It may sound a little disrespectful, the thought used to cross my mind about the first guy I was attracted to in my teens, who was not an attractive man, looked like he’d been ‘hit by a bus’…. for some reason that expression came to mind several times over the years. ]
Here is my article (that could do with some work – I’ll get to it!) about Elsie…
