Mars Entering Aquarius: Aquarius 1 – An Old Adobe Mission In California

In Lunar Stories by Lynda Hill

Mars is entering Aquarius right now. It is on Aquarius 1: AN OLD ADOBE MISSION IN CALIFORNIA

Old Adobe MissionOn the one hand, Mars here asks for equality, for people to have a roof over their head, to have food, to be allowed to practice their faith, to feel safe and secure. On the other hand, Mars couldn’t really really give a damn and it may be also about the church not paying taxes, the building of enormous edifices to bring position and wealth to those in power, It can be also be about abusing people’s trust.

I’m going with the thing that people will be protesting the extreme, horrid, outrageous and hateful abuses that are going on in society…. perhaps it’s about cops bashing and killing citizens, perhaps it’s about getting up in arms about the banking industry.

As always, things can go in many different directions… but, I think the overarching energy here is towards people being sick of being trampled on and used.

This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to have a place that’s safe and comfortable to live, work, pray and practice our spiritual lives. The “Old Adobe Missions in California” were built with a great deal of effort, sacrifice, commitment, and a sense of community with one eye on the path and the other on the very real, everyday needs of the people it serves. Sometimes we assume our beliefs are right and that others need to be shown the truth. Efforts should be turned to creating infrastructures to pursue these beliefs. Relating is not about control, but acceptance and reverence of each person’s divinity. There should be no pretensions, but a forging of links to new worlds.

Withdrawing. Spiritual retreat. Natural surroundings. Creating civilizations out of natural elements. Finding places to work with spirit. Sanctuaries and learning. Houses. Centers.

The Caution: Dogmatism. Pushing one’s beliefs and ideas. Having ‘all the answers’. Moving in. Taking over. Monuments to the past. Cults. Indoctrination. Chiefs. Indians.

This smacks of the Real Estate Industry to me right now.

I am seeing / hearing from others / and personally experiencing the duality of their power – I am watching Real Estates and their affiliated industry members (land) lord their position over both sides of the fence – to the Owner and to the Renter.

What a farce it is when the most basic need, such as a roof over ones head which provides the minimal safety and security to ensure the human condition has shelter and basic needs, has become a battle ground for the consumer, and a playground for the Realtor to ply their well orchestrated industry perception with lies and ungoverned manipulation that there is a lack and so you need to pay more. It doesn’t surprise me when I see that the industry standard lies in the hands of people who are under the same governing body as a Car Salesman in this country – whose main vested interest seems to be themselves, and their position and status in their own Industry.

You may have concluded that I am dealing with such an issue right now – one with shiny alligator pointy shoes and a gold tooth – and you’d be right 😉

Rant over – Back to washing up 🙂

Just to add on a slightly more positive note than the one above – next year I am taking a course to learn to build a house in mud brick and straw bale.
That will be my Adobe ‘mission’.
