The Moon’s North Node On Libra 7: The Protection Of The Innocents Degree
The Moon’s north node is on Libra 7: A WOMAN FEEDING CHICKENS AND PROTECTING THEM FROM THE HAWKS
The Moon’s node on this degree feels very powerful, especially in the light of what’s going on in the world around us. Whether it’s gay rights, the protection of children, issues to do with gun violence, whatever, we have a situation here where we are likely to feel a need for protection of some kind. We may need protection, and/or, we might feel the need to make a stand for the protection of others – for the rights of others. This is very strongly in the air right now, particularly with this latest mass shooting in the States.
The Moon’s node is retrograding over the Super Galactic Centre right up until mid December, so we have an amazing opportunity to tune into what the message of the SPC being transited by the node might mean (more on that later).
This Symbol shows someone who nourishes and protects and feels a sense of being in charge and being responsible for those who can’t look after themselves. In your life, there is probably the need to look after those in your care, whether persons, things or ideas. There could be dangers that no-one else seems to be taking seriously, however your efforts to protect and nourish will be rewarded in the future. Feeding, nourishing and protecting those around you will pay off sometimes in unexpected ways. There’s a need to be careful not to favor some far more than others or to take too much on, or feel responsible for everything and everyone as this can exhaust and limit what you’re trying to accomplish.
Nurturance, protection and guardianship. Shielding the innocents. Stopping the ‘bad guys’. Being firm with outsiders. Providing shelter. Being on the lookout for changes.
The Caution: Overprotection. Not coping with problems. Not allowing others to grow up. Being picked on. Seeing the world as a big scary place. Attacking others. Favoritism.
