The Sun And Mercury On The Life-Changing Inspiration Degree: Aquarius 11

In Lunar Stories by Lynda Hill

The Sun and Mercury are conjunct (together) on Aquarius 11: DURING A SILENT HOUR, A PERSON RECEIVES A NEW INSPIRATION WHICH MAY CHANGE THEIR LIFE

A Man Watches His Ideals Taking ConcreteAs Mercury is retrograde, we are being given a double-whammy chance of getting to the nub of what we want in life – to transform our lives through realisation. Finding time to sit and contemplate can bring through a whole new understanding of what you want in life and it can lead to all kinds of new resolutions and possibilities.

The Sun has just passed over a degree that can bring up dis-illusionments – Aquarius 10: A Man Who Had Been The Embodiment Of An Ideal Is Made To Realise That As A Person, He Is Not That Ideal. So, we have been seeing through some situations, events or people – or ourselves – and seeing what is there without the projections we may have been more intent on focusing on. Mercury is about to head back onto Aquarius 10, so we are set to have another day or two of this energy around us. Later on in February, some time after Mercury goes direct, Mercury will pass back over these two degrees again, and, when this happens, we have an even bigger chance of cementing our hopes and dreams in alignment with our true inner selves. Many things are likely to be jettisoned on this journey of Mercury and the Sun over these degrees.

What ideas, situations, relationships, etc, will you walk away from? Is the conditioning that has built up around you during your life wearing thin? The messages that were forced onto you or seeped into you that do not, and possibly never did, resonate with who you really are?

This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to notice those moments of “Inspiration” that come through you and act to move, inspire, propel or goad you into changing your life. Taking time out, having a “Silent Hour”, even if it’s just 5 minutes, can bring you new ideas, solutions and breakthrough realizations. At times, you may find that despite racking your brain there has been no rational guidance. Slowing down and opening up to the message of your inner inspiration can bring huge shifts in your life. The rational mind can be noisy and interfere with the flow of intuition. A new inspiration is coming, one that may change your life. Be still and listen!

Welling creative power. Inspiration = breathing in the spirit. Coming to terms with reality. Spiritual awakenings. Quiet moments. Meditation. Intuitive awareness. U-turns.

The Caution: Exclusion of others. Obsession with one’s self or objectives. Being a hermit. Hearing voices that confuse. Feeling trapped. Dropping things too quickly. Being fickle.
