With the Sun and Saturn together on this degree, and, being squared by Neptune in Pisces, we are being asked, or forced, to do some internal work, some brewing of our potentials, some moving around of our realities. We do well with this degree to admit, or allow, things to sort themselves out on an internal level so we can manifest our world more the way we want it on the external level.

This Symbol shows a lot going on underneath the surface, often more than other people would suspect. It speaks of shifts, sometimes huge shifts, going on on a deep level, and these are not always evident. Often, changes are quietly happening and all of a sudden the changes are reflected on the outside through an event or a complete shift in attitude. There will be new responses to life coming from deep within your mind and soul. This creation of new and essential levels of awareness is a part of the natural result of inner changes. Although they may not be easy to observe, very strong fundamental changes are happening.

Deep elemental processes and change. Shifting of conservative values. Mining in its many forms. Crystal healing. Colloidal minerals. Organic shifts and changes. Volcanoes.

The Caution: Moving forward while elements are still forming. Clinging stubbornly to outworn ways. Unhealthy growths. Denying inner processes as unimportant.

So, this is where the Sun and Saturn have just been. Now, we are rumbling around with
those realisations or realities.

This degree shows the spreading of love and showing how people can love one another. “Cupid” is “Knocking”, asking to be let in. Barriers and defenses around people’s hearts may be keeping him from getting in, but how long will they be able to resist? Opening your heart and opening the door will lead to new opportunities and realizations about relationships. What are the true depths of your relationships? Soften your boundaries, unlock your heart and allow your heart chakra to open when you are in caring company. Know when to open “The Door’ to allow love in.

Keys and arrows. Respectful invitation of love. Fear of commitment. Purity of motive. Softening one’s boundaries. The need to lighten up one’s approach to others. Romance.

The Caution: Waiting, not taking the initiative. Rejecting emotion. Fearing losing independence. Barriers and defenses. Seeing potential lovers in everyone. Crashing other people’s space.

How we see things, along with how we see ourselves, is a large part of the equation. Mars is itching to get going but is rather stymied in Libra. Still, there are still lessons to be learnt.

Here, we are being challenged to see others in a different light – perhaps we need to stop judging others. Perhaps this will help with the opening of the heart that Cupid seeks for us. You might find that your projections are stopping you from seeing others as they truly are. It could be that you need to remove those glasses as they may be fogged up with pre-conceived ideas or ideals.

This Symbol speaks of the ability, or the necessity, of looking at people as humans and not through the lens of something learned from books. It’s as though the aspects of the rational mind and the intuition require a different kind of focus. Seeing people for who they really are leads to better and kinder relationships, as does dropping judgmental opinions or relying on science or complicated codes of thought for answers. You may need to interrupt your rational mind to realize your intuitive ideas. At times you may feel like the “Professor” and at other times “The Student”. Having the eyes to see each other in the true light of day is the goal.

Different perceptions for different situations. Seeing that others get the message. Glasses and lenses. Observing others. Giving advice. Teachers. The ability to ‘read others’.

The Caution: Egoistic or superior positions that others have a lesser position or intelligence. Distortions of perception or observation. Condescending behavior. Bossy.

This Symbol shows the need to delve deep within your self or into a subject to find answers. There is often a challenge in being able to go deeply enough to come up with what’s really sought. But it is not enough to just find the message, you need to bring what you’ve learnt into the light of day so that you can benefit from this passage and breathe more freely. It’s time to stop operating in the dark, to come to the surface and stop working so hard. There are rewards, however, from the passage into the depths; you can bring up jewels that otherwise would have remained underground, or undiscovered, or not revealed to the light.

Release from labor. Coming into the light transformed. Caves, miners. Deep subconscious healing. Messages emerging. Extracting information. Drilling for answers. Lungs. Hypnotherapy.

The Caution: Gloomy outlook on life. Not seeing the light or potentials. Asthma, breathing problems. Being the ‘canary’ in the mine. Depression. Working too hard.

So, this next day or so is showing us how things are forming within. Things can’t be pushed now – and neither should they – this is about elemental changes within.

Still, we may have announcements, declarations, finalisations, realisations, etc, that we need to announce. Even if only to ourselves…

Neptune is on Pisces 8: A GIRL BLOWING A BUGLE. Neptune is squaring the Sun and Saturn, so we can be sure what we want one minute and unsure the very next minute. This is merely a reflection of this time. Of course, our core needs and wants don’t vacillate, but, our more external manifestations may be a bit all over the shop. Yes, we may need to sound off, to make things clear to others, to speak our mind – we just need to be very certain that our objectives, our ‘truths’, our realities, etc, are in alignment as we can be rather misguided at the moment, all the while thinking that our fantasies are real.

This shows sounding the call, rallying people together, knowing when to speak or “Blow a Bugle” to awaken others, to wake up to realities going on in the world, join some cause, etc. Perhaps you feel the need to wake up those around you, or, perhaps be woken yourself. When situations get bogged down in emotional or rational complexity and everyone just needs to be rallying and going for the objective, you may be the one to let everyone know. Sometimes this Symbol can show someone who makes a lot of noise; justified or unjustified and they can get people moving. Using simple, receptive innocence will get situations back on track.

The Caution: Unwarranted and disturbing noise. Showing off. Trumpeting about oneself. Not listening to people. Being annoying. Interrupting. Betraying confidences. Loud voices.

This degree speaks of the climate change rallies, the marches for peace in Paris around the world. The need to speak up against tyranny.

To be clear: We must follow our dreams and listen to our fantasies, but not when we can’t ground them in reality in a way that serves us and others. After all, that is what this rather monumental square between Saturn and Neptune is telling us. Look through the fog of our interpretations. Wipe off those lenses of perception – get rid of the grit and grime and fingerprints of the past.
