Mars On Libra 27: An Airplane Sails High In The Bright Clear Sky

The Sabian Symbol for Mars is Libra 27: AN AIRPLANE SAILS, HIGH IN THE BRIGHT CLEAR SKY

– so many of us are thinking about those poor people involved in the tragedy involving the Malaysian airplane and the ramifications of it all. I’m sensing the need to rise above the horror that is going on in the world right now, especially what is happening in Palestine. It is beyond horrid. This Symbol could be seen as a challenge to get up and above these happenings – I’m not sure how good I am at doing that, though, I tend to want to throw myself in there and make a big noise…. but in the end what good does it do?

Mars went retrograde on the degree following this – Libra 28: A Man Alone In Deep Gloom, Unnoticed, Angels Are Coming To His Aid – and it transitted over this degree just a day or so after the Malaysian plane went missing months ago… now, Mars is moving forward again over these same degrees and we have another incident involving a plane…

This Symbol shows the ability to transcend strife and to rise above issues. You can feel above situations and are being carried away and beyond the mundane towards something completely new. You can sail above issues and avoid more everyday, down-to-earth problems. Having a calm, objective and somewhat detached way of observing life reveals a lot to you. Don’t, however, get so far above things that you feel removed entirely from what’s really going on in reality. This won’t help when you need to employ practical solutions or have a need to really deal with life and its ramifications.

Transcending difficulties. Optimism that knows no bounds. Having a bird’s eye view. Airplanes, birds, flight. Roller-coaster rides. The need for navigation. Objectivity.

The Caution: Difficulty seeing the details of what’s going on. Escape from reality. Running out of fuel. Egoism. Playing with gravity. Disconnection from the real world.
