The cosmos comes forth from The Eternal, and moves In Him. With His power it reverberates, like thunder crashing in the sky. Those who realize Him pass beyond the sway of death. Upanishads

Lightning is the shorthand of a storm, and tells of chaos. Eric Mackay

Clouds that thunder do not always rain. Armenian proverb

Do not the most moving moments of our lives find us without words? Marcel Marceau

Times of general calamity and confusion create great minds. The purest ore is produced from the hottest furnace, and the brightest thunderbolt is elicited from the darkest storms. Charles Caleb Colton

Quiet minds cannot be perplexed or frightened but go on in fortune or misfortune at their own private pace, like a clock during a thunderstorm. Robert Louis Stevenson

It is the flash which appears, the thunderbolt will follow. Voltaire

July 2021’s full Moon occurs on the 23rd in the US and the 24th in Australia. This is a rather ‘explosive’ full Moon, as I imagine that you can see from the Sabian Symbols for the planets. It’s also a time of strong retrograde energies: All of the outer planets are retrograde, including Chiron, with Uranus stationary and about to get retrograde on the ‘weathering the storm’ degree. So, we may feel frustrated and rather confused by events going on and may not see a clear way forward to our objectives. This is a time of pausing and contemplating your possibilities and desired outcomes, and, with the right mindset, you can have solutions and help arriving – sometimes seemingly out of nowhere (Venus on Virgo 3: TWO GUARDIAN ANGELS BRINGING PROTECTION).

I feel a need to reassure people that the degree of the Sun, Leo 2: AN EPIDEMIC OF MUMPS, does not necessarily mean the spreading of disease. With this Symbol, it is more likely to be about not ‘infecting’ one’s self with negative ideas or talk or gossip – but, there can be a need to see what you need to ‘protect’ yourself from – and, issues to do with loneliness and isolation may come up, especially if you’re forced to isolate or quarantine.

Without wanting to be alarmist or too political, I must say that these Symbols are telling a story around issues living here in Sydney, Australia. We are under rather severe lockdown that we’ve already experienced for weeks and months, and, it looks set to continue (Sydney’s situation is nothing compared to Melbourne, Victoria, though!). We are being isolated from each other and individuals and businesses are going bust at alarming levels. The police have gone right over the line several times in the last eighteen months and they are getting more and more brutal. The same is happening in many other countries: I realise that it is not just Australia. I don’t want to belabour this point as I realise that people are divided on this issue. Suffice to say that this is a terrible time in our history. I just (rather fervently) hope that people are safe, secure and well.

Having said that, we do have Venus and Jupiter in opposition at this full Moon, which can be a very good aspect, depending on other factors, of course. With Venus on the GUARDIAN ANGEL degree and Jupiter on Pisces 1: A CROWDED PUBLIC MARKETPLACE, there can be the feeling that people, events, realisations, etc, can turn up just at the right time. It is difficult, though, especially if you’re going through a time of wondering how you’re going to feed yourself or pay the bills (the MARKETPLACE). Calling your ‘guardian angels’ and accepting help when it’s offered can see some miracles happening – breakthroughs both big and small are possible now.

Another manifestation of Venus and Jupiter being in opposition is people holding opposing views. We can find ourselves quite amazed at the polarity of opinions that are flying around. And this can manifest in relationships, with friends or family – right across the board. An acceptance of a ‘live and let live’ attitude can help enormously, especially now.

Aquarius 2, the Symbol for this full Moon, can show electrical shortages and issues to do with the Internet. With recent ransomware and outages of all kinds, we may see not only a continuation of these events, but, a ramping up and increasing levels of attack. I obviously hope not.

The Sabian Symbol of the full Moon is Aquarius 2: AN UNEXPECTED THUNDERSTORM – the following is my full interpretation of this degree from my book The Sabian Oracle: 360 Degrees of Wisdom –

Commentary: ‘An Unexpected Thunderstorm’ symbolizes something coming out of the blue. It may be sudden, confronting, overwhelming and somewhat frightening. Thunderstorms, especially those that are ‘Unexpected’, are awesome powerhouses of energy that can unleash incredible levels of tension and release. However, ‘Thunderstorms’ often clear the air after an extreme buildup of energy, and can leave us with a sense of awe and wonder at the extreme power, majesty and beauty of natural events. Flashes of clarity often come like bolts of lightning that shoot through one’s mind, spirit and body. When the air clears, there can be a purging or clearing up of issues through incredible states of illumination.

Oracle: You may find that you are suddenly tested, taken by surprise or something shattering arises. This can overtake and overawe your sense of stability, and can happen when you least expect it. Perhaps you saw signs of something big coming, but didn’t quite know what to expect, or what was going to be unleashed. Your inner strength and stability is likely to be put to the test however you can learn a lot from the experience, especially if you strive to stay at the center of the ‘Storm’ and not get swept up and away by it. In fact, the effect can be quite liberating, after the initial shock. The best course of action to take is to not panic, but to see your true place in the scheme of things and help others cope with what’s going on. You may need to let go of control in this situation, as trying to be in charge of what’s happening may well be impossible. Endeavor to be a conduit for the unleashed energy in some way; let the energy run through you and into the ground. Stay with the feeling of grounding the energy as much as possible. When the ‘Storm’ passes, assess what you can fix up.

Keywords: Sudden visitations of natural wonder. Something that drops on you, seemingly from out of nowhere. Things erupting and happening fast. Storms in a teacup. Shocks and confrontations with raw energy. Thunder, lightning and electricity. The Tower card of the tarot. Being a lightning rod. Water and rain that quenches and revives. Things being unleashed.

The Caution: Losing control without warning. Emotional instability. A “back draft” of emotions. Bottling up and blowing up. Confused by sudden outbursts. Loud bangs and crashes that shock and stun. Seizing up with fear. Sudden unleashing of emotions. Hurricanes of messy energy. The Gestapo – the Stasis.

The Karmic Condition of the full Moon is Aquarius 1: AN OLD ADOBE MISSION IN CALIFORNIA

This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to have a place that’s safe and comfortable to live, work, pray and practice our spiritual lives. The “Old Adobe Missions in California” were built with a great deal of effort, sacrifice, commitment, and a sense of community with one eye on the path and the other on the very real, everyday needs of the people it serves. Sometimes we assume our beliefs are right and that others need to be shown the truth. Efforts should be turned to creating infrastructures to pursue these beliefs. Relating is not about control, but acceptance and reverence of each person’s divinity. There should be no pretensions, but a forging of links to new worlds.

Keywords: Spiritual retreats in natural surroundings. Finding new areas to work with spirit. Creating civilization out of natural elements. Hard work to create places of sanctuary and learning. Places once revered now tourist attractions. Forging links to new worlds. Missions and missionaries. Bringing faith to the “new world”. Brotherhoods. Places that house and protect.

The Caution: Dogmatism. Pushing beliefs and ideas on others. Believing one’s spiritual and religious beliefs contain all the answers. Taking over others’ lives. Moving in and taking control. Monuments to the past sagging and fading. People moving in on others. Cults. Indoctrination. Issues of chiefs and ‘indians’.

The Quest Degree of this full Moon is Aquarius 3: A DESERTER FROM THE NAVY STANDS SUDDENLY AWARE OF A DAWNING TRUTH: FREEDOM IS NEVER THE RESULT OF COMPROMISE

This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to be able to listen to one’s conscience, to know when to do one’s duty, step up to the mark, or, when it’s time to leave, say enough is enough and ‘I’m not doing this anymore.’ You will find, at times in your life, that rigorous restraints and rules are no longer bearable. A decision to opt out may be a moral one or to maintain a free spirit. One shouldn’t have to “Compromise” themselves in order to be safe, secure, employed, or have a purpose in life. However, there are consequences for “Deserting” – not playing the game. Are you prepared for them? It can also show being taken away from home and family for reasons not of one’s choosing.

Keywords: Rebellion. Leaving, although allegiance had been pledged. Opting out because of pressure, harassment or bullying. Taking risks to get out of a dangerous/destructive/alienating situation. Being left behind by someone who’s “jumped ship”. Going AWOL. Standing by personal truths. Refusing compromise.

The Caution: Not playing by the rules of socially structured games. Self-ruin. Refusal to face social consequences. Not turning up. Withdrawing support in a physical, emotional or spiritual way. Blowing security. Rats deserting the sinking ship.

The degree of the Sun at this full Moon is Leo 2: AN EPIDEMIC OF MUMPS

This Symbol shows situations that need to be handled carefully as things could easily get out of control or out of hand, leading to eruptions that can sometimes cause more damage than they’re worth. Sometimes a person with this Symbol will be adapt at containing situations – a real healer who knows how to restore calm and wellness. Still, there could be outcomes that affect many people that probably started with just one person or one conversation. This can be news or gossip, or it can be ill feelings or ill will. Whether this is you or someone else, things are likely to spread unless someone takes control. Separation or isolation can lead to a halt to problems and a recovery.

Keywords: Hysterical feelings. Ideas of immunity. Things getting out of control. Common threads that link people and places. Infectious diseases. Medicine and cures. Discovering the truth of a situation and acting accordingly. Viruses and bacterial infections spreading. Rumors. Colds. Flu. Fear in general. The cat let out of the bag. The need for ‘immunization’. The need for hygiene. Isolating causes of problems. Vaccinations. Outbreaks. Blood tests. Tumors. Measles. Chicken pox.

The Caution: Fear of bad health. Hypochondria. Rampaging gossip. Widespread fear or upset. Stories that get out of control. Rashes and skin problems. Deprivation. Hiding one’s self away for fear of contagion. Fear of sharing one’s self with others. Obsession with health. Embarrassment. Impotence. Contagious thoughts. Negative thinking and compulsive actions. The complications of disease. Media frenzies. Problems that multiply with alarming speed.

The Karmic Condition of the degree of the Sun is Leo 1: UNDER EMOTIONAL STRESS, BLOOD RUSHES TO A PERSON’S HEAD

This Symbol implies that emotions in the form of anger or passion can get in the way of rational responses and being able to move ahead purposefully. Sometimes it feels like almost nothing can be done; being immobilized with neither mental nor physical control. It won’t last forever; it will pass and resistance can just make some situations worse. The trick is to wait until all the available data comes through before making decisions or moves as premature reactions can lead to embarrassing back downs. Thinking things through when calm descends again will help sort things out.
Difficulty containing emotional reactions. Becoming fired-up about something.

Keywords: Ambition. Becoming fired-up. Charging off in all directions at once. Dizziness and disorientation. Nervous breakdowns. Not acting like one’s usual self. Events coming to a head. Feeling like one will explode at any moment. Too many obligations to live up to. Feeling incapable of action. Too much excitement to contain safely. Headaches. Blood pressure. Erections. Animal passions.

The Caution: Becoming ill through emotional suppression. Losing one’s cool. Going off the deep end. Lack of self-restraint. Taking things too seriously. Grumpiness and irritability. Not knowing how to act or respond. Difficulty containing emotional reactions. Unable to make accurate decisions due to irrational thoughts. Sunburn.

The Sabian Symbol of Mercury is Cancer 22: A YOUNG PERSON AWAITING A SAILBOAT

This Symbol shows someone who feels that there is a strong sense that the ideal will come if one just waits long enough. The waiting can lead to a pleasurable expectation, but it’s important not to become dependent on unreliable expectations. If you are constantly looking out, then you are not giving enough time to looking back or inward at the things you already possess or have ready access to. How long are you prepared to wait on the dock for your ship to come in? Has it already come in but you’ve not even noticed?

Keywords: Waiting for one’s ship to come in. Escapist fantasies that rob everyday life. Travel and the longing for escape. Living in the future vs. being in the here and now. Nervous anticipation. Leaving things to chance. Believing that things will come eventually. Opportunism. Rocking someone’s boat. Expectant waiting. Constant looking to the horizon. Boats. Tides. Creating a safe harbor.

The Caution: The bubble bursting. Waiting for Mr. or Ms “perfect”. Ignoring what’s readily available. Longing for that which may never come. Missing opportunities. Always looking over one’s shoulder, seeking better things. Boredom with one’s life. Escapism. Possibilities that are never “good enough”. Pining for the unattainable. Not taking life on. Delusions of grandeur. Things always being better tomorrow.

The Sabian Symbol of Venus is Virgo 3: TWO GUARDIAN ANGELS BRINGING PROTECTION

This Symbol brings a strong sense that you are protected, guided and directed and therefore you will find the true path you must follow. Feeling good about your direction, and being protected builds your inner strength. You are never alone with this Symbol, always being looked after in times of stress or indecision. Your angels are with you, but you probably need to remember them and thank them for their guidance and influence in your life. With this degree there is often a sense of help arriving at just the right time or people showing up who have your best interests at heart.

Keywords: Connection with a sense of inner guidance. Visible or invisible protection. People appearing when they’re needed. Being saved in the nick of time. Creative solutions to problems that seemed hopeless and lost. Counseling and guidance. Angels. Security systems. Salvation. Social workers.

The Caution: Feeling lost and alone without help. Losing faith in the goodness of life. Expecting that fate, or others, will pick up the pieces without putting in any effort. Resisting help in order to hang onto your “wounds”. Too much reliance on outside forces. Not acting to change things. Victim status.

The Quest Degree of Venus is Virgo 4: BLACK AND WHITE CHILDREN PLAYING HAPPILY TOGETHER

This Symbol shows the need to integrate people of different races, religions, economic status or places. During your life you may find people from different or seemingly disparate or separate areas come into your life, making it richer, more rewarding and interesting. Prejudice of any kind, whether religious or race based, economic or class systems, is an illusion based on social perception and excludes people that could add to our lives. Social perceptions can color how we see others and these need to be put aside. Rather, it’s about embracing brotherhood and caring. The integration, acceptance and enjoyment of all people brings depth and meaning to life.

Keywords: Universal brotherhood. Overcoming prejudices and boundaries that separate people. Knocking down social barriers to relate freely. Being able to let go, relax and have fun with people from anywhere. Adopted siblings. Foster homes. Affirmative action. Trust and joy. Play that unites people.

The Caution: Morality that is swayed by public opinion. Not adjusting psychologically to situations that require creative responses. Racial and social prejudice. Seeing things in black and white terms. Social demarcations that separate people or situations. Apartheid. Illusions based on the separative perceptions of society.

Mars is on Leo 27: DAYBREAK – THE LUMINESCENCE OF DAWN IN THE EASTERN SKY

This Symbol implies the gradual feeling that darkness is dispersing and that a new day is right on the horizon. Often in your life, you may feel there is a chance for new beginnings. Things along the way have been sacrificed and there may be a certain emptiness, but you will see the light of day and move forward again. This Symbol speaks of transition times of letting go of operating in the dark and moving into a new day with new plans and fresh solutions. New ideas, new opportunities, new perspectives and new realizations are emerging. Getting up at dawn and watching the Sun rise can be a wonderful meditation for this degree.

Keywords: Gradual realization of opportunities. New cycles beginning. Feeling that one can leave the past behind, finally. Transitions between darkness and light. Meditation and yoga. Scenes of awe and amazement. Things slowly being revealed. Dawning awareness. Light from the east. Awakening. Looking to the future. Luminescent light.

The Caution: Being fearful and distrusting new experiences or situations. Thinking that everything will be O.K. “tomorrow” (i.e. not today). Closing things down when they should be opening up. Feeling like one’s asleep and can’t wake up. Staying in bed and missing out on new opportunities. Not moving on when it’s necessary.

The Quest Degree of Mars is Leo 28: MANY LITTLE BIRDS ON THE LIMB OF A LARGE TREE

This Symbol shows many people and many voices around and a gathering together with those of like mind, although sometimes you’re forced to be with people who don’t share the same mindset or goals. There seem to be so many possibilities or ways to go in your life. Although the overall situation is secure and stable there will still be some confusions to be resolved. You may be vulnerable to lots of chatter going on in your mind, or having too many thoughts or people, their voices or their needs to consider. Try to relax and gain some perspective until things become more settled as not all that you see or hear is going to be worth thinking about or pursuing.

Keywords: Gathering with people of like mind. Sharing ideas. Huge structures where people can get lost in the crowd. Big business, government and bureaucracy. Multilevel marketing. Databases. The Internet and chat groups. Books, tapes and CD’s. Publishing houses. Competition. Telephone switchboards. Trying to gain attention.

The Caution: Many voices—some heard, some not. Being confused or immobilized by too much advice or information. Too many sounds. Having trouble hearing the essential truth. A scattering of energies. Not getting a word in edgeways. Everybody talking and nobody listening. Being one of many. Noise and distraction. Staying with the mediocre. The masses. Being invisible. Useless chattering or noise.

Jupiter is retrograde on Pisces 1: A CROWDED PUBLIC MARKET PLACE

This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to be able to advertise, market, and sell things, barter and complete the deal. People come together, bringing their talents, skills and wares to the marketplace. Being involved in the marketplace is the thing, and how much you are involved will show the things you need to do and the tempo of the buying and selling. It can indicate the issue of having ones self or goods on display and ready for sale. The “Market Place” is said to be “Crowded” and “Public”. Many aspects of the community are on display and available for the benefit of others. You may find that you are able to contribute, benefit and gain. Getting yourself or your products ‘out there’, where they can be appreciated can bring rewards on many levels.

Keywords: Human interchange. Bartering. Commercialism. Shopping centers, markets. The Internet. People fulfilling each other’s desires. Buyers and sellers. Classifieds. Consumables. Money changing hands. Products of all kinds. Globalization—its rewards and trappings. Shops and landlords. Storage, stockpiles and stocktaking. Bargains and bargaining. The rules of fair trade. Competition. Public opinion. The economy. Trade embargoes. Big business. The Stock market. Advertising.

The Caution: Being too stingy or greedy to share benefits. Airing ones “laundry”, emotions or possessions in public. Panicking from feeling “crowded in”. Exploiting for greed. Disputes over costs. Monopolies. Not letting anything get in the way of making a buck. Always bargaining for one’s own advantage. Rip offs. Sweatshops. Being too busy to enjoy people.

Saturn is retrograde on Aquarius 11: DURING A SILENT HOUR, A PERSON RECEIVES A NEW INSPIRATION WHICH MAY CHANGE THEIR LIFE

This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to notice those moments of “Inspiration” that come through you and act to move, inspire, propel or goad you into changing your life. Taking time out, having a “Silent Hour”, even if it’s just 5 minutes, can regularly bring you new ideas, solutions and breakthrough realizations. At times in your life, you could find that despite racking your brain there has been no rational guidance. Slowing down and opening up to the message of your inner inspiration can bring huge shifts in your life. The rational mind can be noisy and interfere with the flow of intuition. A new inspiration is coming, one that may change your life. Be still and listen!

Keywords: Welling creative power. Inspiration = breathing in the spirit. Coming to terms with one’s reality. Visionary people and events. Being reborn. Spiritual awakenings. Meditation and reflective thought. Intuitive awareness rising up into conscious awareness. Spending time alone, thinking. Contemplation. Reversals. Flashes of insight.

The Caution: Exclusion of others. Obsession with one’s objectives. Being a hermit. Hearing voices. Feeling trapped. Shooting off in all directions. Dropping things without resolution. Cutting off from life. Constantly changing directions. Regretting the past. Not moving on.

Uranus is stationary (and soon to go retrograde) on Taurus 15: A MAN WITH A SILK HAT, MUFFLED AGAINST THE COLD, HE BRAVES THE STORM

This Symbol implies having to brave times of hardship and discomfort, while still having to remain confident and somewhat cheerful, even though one is unable to avoid the difficulty. There is the constant possibility of having to weather storms while maintaining that all will be ok in the end. Showing determination, confidence and hope for the future will help you move forward and it will encourage those around you at the same time. Wearing your best outfit while showing a brave face will win the respect of others who may not be aware of how difficult things really can be for you.

Keywords: Inner poise being more important than outer appearances. Braving stormy weather. Ploughing on through difficulties. Being willing to weather storms and take on the hard times. Having tasks or errands to perform when one would rather not. Hats, scarves and muffles. Sudden change of circumstances.

The Caution: Not showing your true feelings. Superficial shows of strength. Not noticing things improving. Always battling the “elements”. Complaining and whining instead of getting on with the task at hand. Wanting to be pampered and not face up to life’s storms. Considering appearance before all else. Superficiality. Insufficient or inappropriate clothing or apparel. Refusing to protect one’s self from cold or harm.

Neptune is retrograde on Pisces 23: A ‘MATERIALIZING MEDIUM’ GIVING A SÉANCE

This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to be able to pick up subtle energies and psychic clues in the environment. The “Materializing Medium” can receive radiations, frequencies or vibrations that cannot easily be sensed by most people. At times in your life, you will experience a surprising sensitivity and awareness to spiritual forces and energies. This can cause confusion, other times enlightenment. Sit with any new impressions you receive until you understand their authenticity or depth. Sometimes there is a need to free up ‘stuck’ or earthbound entities. This degree can also show someone who can “Materialize” things; they can make things happen just by thinking about or concentrating on them.

Keywords: Spiritual channeling. A need to free up “stuck” or earthbound entities. Efforts to materialize things. Coming straight out with things. Giving voice to spirit. Tarot readings, clairvoyance and clairsentience. Things seen ahead of their time. Bringing messages from the other side. Contacting the dead.

The Caution: Putting on a false front. Merely doing a performance for others. Making things up. Using mind control over others to get a desired outcome. Using sensational methods to induce others to give up control over their own lives. Exorcisms performed by the inexperienced. Inviting weird energies or people.

The Quest Degree of Neptune (and the degree that Neptune just recently stationed on and went retrograde on) is Pisces 24: THE TINY ISLAND SEEMS LOST IN THE BROAD OCEAN, BUT ITS HAPPY INHABITANTS HAVE CREATED A GREAT WORLD ALL THEIR OWN

This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to be able to live with others, to share the same space, to create a happy life. The people pictured in this Symbol all live together and have “Created a Great World All Their Own”. No matter how well people get along, people still have to compromise and give and take in order to sustain good community relations. Drawn together by similar hopes and ambitions it is ironic that sometimes compromise is the only way to successful coexistence. Making the most of what is available, even though it is restrictive, will help to dispel any feelings of being cutoff and isolated. Who are you comfortable sharing your space with? Who would you have sharing your desert island?

Keywords: Adaptability and cohabitation. People jammed in. Seeking others of like mind. Knowing a lot of people. Always considering others. Noise and light pollution. Feeling like new blood is needed in order to grow and flourish. Coexistence. Apartments. Living together. People moving in.

The Caution: Cutting off from those around. Not having enough privacy—or space. Things being kept too “all in the family”. No chance to be alone. Pollution and garbage. Crowding out people. Loneliness even amongst many. Being deserted and lost.

The Sabian Symbol of retrograde Pluto is Capricorn 26: A NATURE SPIRIT DANCING IN THE MIST OF A WATERFALL

This Symbol shows the ability to, or the need for, being able to skip lightly over the surface of life, dancing and playing. Whilst this is, essentially, a beautiful symbol of a ‘lightness of being’, there may be an element of feeling cut off from your body, or reality. You may feel emotionally light and almost mischievous. The deeper parts of your feelings are ignored as you effortlessly flit over the surface of any troubles. This can lead to a sense of alienation or difficulty in knowing where to land or evading problems by ignoring them or rising above them.

Keywords: Effervescent spirits or escapism. Dancing in a carefree manner. Water and fun. Peter Pan characters. Mountains, mists, fog. Reveling in nature. Picking up subtle energies. Being healed because of the heightened atmosphere (altitude). Celebrations of the natural world. Waterfalls. Water spraying and dripping. Finding one’s habitat. Chinese water-torture. Water nymphs, fairies and nature spirits, devas, and angels.

The Caution: Irresponsibility, avoidance of real situations. Not taking anything seriously. Flitting off. Being held down and repressed when one is longing for light relief. Feeling abused by pressure. Being subjugated by cold, icy elements, thoughts or emotions. Tricks or perceptions of the light. Fear of dark places.

Chiron is retrograde (it went retrograde on this degree) on Aries 13: A BOMB WHICH FAILED TO EXPLODE IS NOW SAFELY HIDDEN FROM DISCOVERY

This Symbol shows that often in one’s life explosive elements need discharging. Pressure cooker energy needs to be released, but it often needs to be done slowly and carefully. By keeping a sense of control, one can handle wild situations, elements or people without things getting out of hand. Be an example to others of how calmness and quiet can take the charge out of things. Take whatever opportunities you can to defuse elements as an explosion often damages more than is expected.

Keywords: Pressure valves. Getting away with something. Tantrums and frustration. Tempers that simmer. Explosive behavior. Bombs, explosions. Sudden and forceful events. Intelligence organizations, CIA, FBI, ASIO, etc. Valuable lessons of self-restraint. Relief from problems. Discharging nervous energy. Security checks. Last minute escapes.

The Caution: Suppressing stress or illness. Doing inappropriate things and thinking the secret safe. Repressing emotions. Undefined anger. Pressure cooker energy that needs to be released slowly. Explosions damaging more than expected. Activists. Deception behind one’s back. Clash of ideals. Terrorism.

The Sabian Symbol of the Moon’s north node is Gemini 10: AN AIRPLANE DIVES TOWARD THE EARTH AS THOUGH FALLING

This situation implies an ability to be able to play with and defy gravity while maintaining a sense of being in control and able to pull out of difficult situations. Your situation may seem to be heading for disaster, but perhaps you can still be in control, and, at the right moment, you’ll be able to pull out of the nosedive and save the day. The question is: do you really always have an adequate grip on the controls? Are you, or is someone else, actively working against people’s best interests? Imagine yourself regaining control, physical, mentally, emotional or spiritually and pull yourself out of the nose dive and you’ll become stronger and will enjoy the experience at the same time.

Keywords: Plunging into situations without considering the ramifications. Becoming conscious of what’s happening. Being protected (and saved) at the last moment. Defying gravity. Facing consequences. Dangerous displays. Hitting the ground running. The art of smooth sailing. Daredevil stunts.

The Caution: Refusing to help yourself even when disaster is imminent. Free falls and defying the consequences. Shakeups. Things getting completely out of control. Overshooting the mark by aiming too high. Turbulence. Reckless behavior. Neglect of physical realities. Freaking out at crucial moments.

The Sabian Symbol of the Moon’s south node is Sagittarius 10: A THEATRICAL REPRESENTATION OF A GOLDEN HAIRED GODDESS OF OPPORTUNITY

Rewards, awards, acclaim, a sense of presence, charisma and beauty are all the promise of this degree. During your life, there will be offers that look too good to refuse, and they could be full of promise, but they should still be looked at carefully. It can be something of a reward for you, in which case it can lead to bigger and better things. Someone or something may seem to be the answer to your dreams – and indeed it may well turn out to be a grand adventure with a big reward. You, or someone close to you, could be seen as someone who could make big money from the entertainment industry – a natural talent. However, it could be just idle chatter, with no basis in reality.

Keywords: Distinguishing reality from theater. Feeling that the “world is your stage”. Playing out a story. Seeing others as a gateway to riches or fulfillment. Being “the talent”. Being an “overnight success”. Glamour and the allure of the media. The Academy Awards. Autographs of the noted. Seeing opportunity ahead of its time. Auditions. Promotions.

The Caution: Propaganda. Constantly chasing “things” that come to nothing. Being exploited or exploiting others for personal gain. Giving a deliberate false impression regarding opportunity and good fortune. Shallow adoration.
