Dressing For The Part When The Emperor Has No Clothes: June’s New Moon In Cancer
You can fool too many of the people too much of the time. James Thurber
Lying to ourselves is more deeply ingrained than lying to others. Fyodor Dostoevski
I pretended to be somebody I wanted to be until finally I became that person. Or he became me. Cary Grant
There’s no labor a man can do that’s undignified—if he does it right. Bill Cosby
A graduation ceremony is an event where the commencement speaker tells thousands of students dressed in identical caps and gowns that “individuality” is the key to success. Robert Orben
A man is known by the books he reads, by the company he keeps, by the praise he gives, by his dress, by his tastes, by his distastes, by the stories he tells, by his gait, by the notion in his eye. Ralph Waldo Emerson
The new Moon in Cancer occurs on the 28th June in the US and the 29th June in Australia. This new Moon, as with many of course, is a mixed bag of energies – some will feel more optimistic while others will be feeling more unsettled or upset with the unfolding of events. Please note that I’m concentrating on the more difficult energies going on – there are, of course, many positives that can come out of this time.
This new Moon in Cancer is very tightly conjunct Lilith – the Black Moon. It also has a very tight square to Jupiter – the rules of law, ethics, justice, beliefs and morals – whether right or wrong. So, we find Lilith thrown in with the energies here. I feel that the interpretation of the Black Moon Lilith from Solar Fire is very much worth quoting here:
This is not a heavenly body as such, but a point of power like the Nodes of the Moon. Geometrically, Black Moon Lilith represents the empty focal point of the Moon’s elliptical orbital path around the Earth. As an astrological symbol, Lilith seems to show the unfolding of the ancient archetypal feminine power of creation, growth, stasis, decay and destruction. It is connected with maturity, especially emotional maturity, and seems to be involved in working with turbulent feelings, jealousy and rage to a point of inner balance and harmony. This leads to Black Moon Lilith’s gift of self-empowerment. Its dark face is revealed in volcanic eruptions of destructive anger, intense passion, emotional manipulation and disordered aggression. There seem to be themes of spiritual (or even material) renunciation associated with Lilith, and these then create resonances with Ketu, the South Node of the Moon.
So, the feminine aspects of ourselves may feel held down, repressed, judged, controlled and manipulated. We can see this reflected in the very recent Roe Vs Wade decision – one that is surely taking us backwards in terms of the rights of women. The idea of religion, morals, ethics and codes being pushed onto women is very wearying, especially if we feel that our views about what we can and can’t do with our bodies is being held against us. Further, just the very thing of bringing up our firmly held beliefs or convictions around this issue can have others pushing back against us – whatever side of the equation we find ourselves on. Jupiter, of course, can have people firmly entrenched in their beliefs, and, we can find that we are pushed to find a balance between treading carefully around others with varying or opposite beliefs and standing up for what we know is correct or ‘right’ for us. It’s a fine line and one that can just add to the feeling of division and alienation from others.
I looked up the meaning of ‘the emperor has no clothes’ to find this:
Meaning: This expression is used to describe a situation in which people are afraid to criticize something or someone because the perceived wisdom of the masses is that the thing or person is good or important. We can feel torn between staying quiet and speaking up to reveal what we’re really seeing.
Adding to the sense of what we do and don’t want is Venus on Gemini 8: AROUSED STRIKERS SURROUNDING A FACTORY. As the Symbol suggests, some people will be roused to go ‘on strike’, holding up placards and not being at all happy with the ‘status quo’, while others will be watching, often without a true understanding of the stresses and strains that the people are facing by being ‘shut down’, ‘shut out’, not given their rights or liberties. This is one of six Gemini Sabian Symbols that speak of ‘going on strike’ or standing up for one’s rights and beliefs. Venus will be transiting over this and four more ‘standing up for what one believes’ Symbols before it leaves Gemini. Venus in Gemini can have a lot to say, and, no doubt, there will be arguments on both sides of the equation with both sides – as is human nature – seeing only their view on things. Please note: I used this graphic for this ‘striking’ degree, however, I think that we need to stop labelling people. What happened to people just being themselves, just being people?
As always, it’s interesting to note Chiron on Aries 17: TWO PRIM SPINSTERS SITTING TOGETHER IN SILENCE. Do we speak up? Do we have a voice? Are we being heard? Do others care about what happens to us? Are we limiting ourselves and our self expression by not wanting to ‘disturb the peace’? Are the ‘fossils’ around us making decisions for us when they should be deferring to the younger, more vital, elements in society? Again, are we reticent (or afraid) to bring up issues that others might find confronting or just ‘not nice’.
Mercury is on Gemini 19: IN A MUSEUM A LARGE ARCHAIC VOLUME REVEALS A TRADITIONAL WISDOM. Some ‘books’, some laws on the books, some ideas, some long held traditions are ‘traditional wisdom’ while some just belong in a museum gathering dust.
Jupiter, in Aries, being tightly square to this new Moon and Lilith, adds to the feeling that our true needs for autonomy are being challenged. That much is a given, however, Jupiter’s strong involvement in this new Moon can have people wanting to have new starts, to get going with things they’ve wanted to do – perhaps for ages. New visions and impulses can have us wanting to break out those things that we’ve been putting on hold or avoiding. We may feel that impetus at our back pushing us forward to new beginnings.
Increasing this pushback is Mars squaring Pluto at this new Moon. Adding to the rather ‘dark energies’, this square becomes exact two days after the new Moon. Mars will be on Aries 28: A LARGE DISAPPOINTED AUDIENCE squaring Pluto on Capricorn 28: A LARGE AVIARY. As I’ve mentioned before, I see the ‘Large Aviary’ as many voices, social media, main stream media, phone calls, text messages, communications of many kinds. A major them in a large aviary is the attempt of many to have their voices heard – they are often drowned out by the sheer amount of noise blasting from left, right and centre (naturally this can be political sides, but, it can also just be very pronounced stereophonics – we get it loudly from both sides. The ‘Large Disappointed Audience’ doesn’t really need any interpretation – it’s rather clear that people are not happy. My Australian audience will get the ‘joke’ that the Not Happy Jan meme implies! :)
Adding to all of this is Saturn squaring the Moon’s nodes. We’ve had this aspect for several weeks. Saturn is on Aquarius 25: A BUTTERFLY WITH THE RIGHT WING MORE PERFECTLY FORMED. Of course, we’re facing more than the issue of Roe Vs Wade, the issue of gun rights is again on the agenda. With all that’s going on in the world, I do understand people feeling the need to be ‘armed‘, (as an Australian, I’ve come to understand it more and more these last few years) but, of course, one wonders where one’s rights are not to be shot. I find this argument very very tricky, and, we may find more and more events, situations and discussions about this coming up with the Moon’s south node on Scorpio 22: HUNTERS PROTECTED BY HEAVY CLOTHING ARE SHOOTING WILD DUCKS. This Symbol can have people looking out from both sides – where is ‘the threat’? Who has the upper hand? How can we protect ourselves from feeling like ‘sitting ducks’? In amongst all that’s going on, we are likely to see more and more division between people. Of course, the main agenda of governments nowadays is more and more to ‘divide and conquer’.
Having said all of that, and, there’s always more to say, this new Moon can bring about amazing and enormous breakthroughs – after all, Jupiter in it’s enormity can and does bring about good luck, realisations, lucky breaks – etc etc.

The Sabian Symbol for the new Moon is Cancer 8: A GROUP OF RABBITS DRESSED IN CLOTHES AND ON DIGNIFIED PARADE – the following is my full interpretation from my book The Sabian Oracle: 360 Degrees of Wisdom.
Commentary: ‘A Group of Rabbits Dressed in Clothes’ can picture people who may be trying to be more, or act like they are more, than they really are. The fact that they are ‘On Dignified Parade’ means that they are working to put on a good show and to stand up for themselves. Our outer garments and demeanor act to both show and disguise who we truly are and what we are really feel about ourselves. It’s difficult to completely disguise the attempt, but the effort of trying to advance themselves may be appreciated and rewarded with people taking them more seriously. The ‘Rabbits’ are still ‘Rabbits’ after all.
Oracle: Your abilities can take a leap ahead of normal development, simply by making an attempt to be or to do more. This Symbol pictures the process of projecting into the future a higher sense of being or thinking forward into a more intelligent, more successful level of life. Another aspect of this Symbol speaks of wanting to cover up one’s sexuality with an outer display of dignity and conservatism. This may be a necessity in some more conservative social circles. Through a sense of inferiority, there may be a need to take on another’s role or personality. By wearing elaborate or unusual clothes, gowns, wigs, crowns etc, we can influence or change how others perceive us. Clothing and costumes can either elevate or degrade one’s status. Imagine yourself clothed elegantly and having a ‘Dignified’ stance as this can lead others to think more of you. Project yourself with a sense of confidence and dignity. Don’t be restricted by class, or status—excel other’s expectations, and don’t let anyone “pigeonhole” you.
Keywords: Emulation of higher forms. Procreation and having babies. Dressing up. Modeling shapes and forms. Parading and being on parade. Attempts to overcome class barriers. Popularity competitions. Groups with a particular agenda. Uniforms. Religious garments. Lifeforms posing as humans. Outfits that project a particular agenda, regardless of reality. Identification parade and identikit photos.
The Caution: Pretending to be what one is not. Sublimating one’s instinctual (or animal) needs to maintain a dignified, straight front. Deception. Strutting one’s stuff. Showing off. Demanding attention.Appropriating an office or sense of authority. Sociopaths. Losing respect. Criticism of those just starting out.
The Karmic Condition (the degree before) of this new Moon is Cancer 7: TWO FAIRIES (NATURE SPIRITS) DANCING ON A MOONLIT NIGHT
This Symbol implies enjoying the company of like minded people and sharing moments of fun, fantasy and celebrations. Moments spent together are likely to be very enjoyable, but there could be a sense of wanting to escape reality, especially the reality of what’s possible in your situation. Your intuition and imagination are heightened, with a strong sense of your emotional and spiritual center. Whilst maintaining touch with reality, you’ll want to let go of the rational and enjoy the experience of being with others, or, at least, one very special person. Allow your relationship to flow but you may find things look different in the clear light of day.
Keywords: Usually invisible astral realms. Reconnecting with the feminine. Dancing. Avoiding harsh reality. Slipping away somewhere unnoticed. Seeing what’s usually hidden. Romances that have difficulty in the real world. Dreams and fantasies. Sharing common ground. Full moon celebrations. Moonlight. Sunlight. Couples inspirited. Women celebrating. Other realms. Invoking fantasies. Moondances.
The Caution: Losing one’s self in emotional dreaming. Not seeing the reality of the other you’re “dancing” with. Lacking responsibility. Escapist attitudes vs. serious decisions. Relationships with no earthly reality or substance. Something too good to be true. Finding it hard to connect with others.
The Quest Degree (the following degree) of this new Moon is Cancer 9: A SMALL, NAKED GIRL BENDS OVER A SPARKLING POND TRYING TO CATCH A FISH – this is also the degree of Lilith – the Black Moon.
This Symbol speaks of naivety, innocence, beauty and delight in simple things. The young child is trying to grasp at things that seem elusive and fleeting. You may find yourself unable to grasp the meaning of some things that happen in your life, but still being fascinated by what is unfolding. Keeping a sense of delight and fun while going after what you want is likely to ultimately bring you the satisfaction you desire. Your position is comparatively innocent and your perceptions are probably rather limited, still lessons will be learnt about what is and what is not possible. Innocently reaching out for experiences can bring rewards and beauty.
Keywords: Curiosity. Infantile cravings. Fascination with illusions. Grasping at abstract ideas. Longing for things. Going for the elusive. Taking advantage of the young and innocent. Objects that cannot be held or captured, only dreamt about. Fun found in simple activities. Childhood games. Communing with nature. Nakedness. Inexperienced sexuality. Splashing around.
The Caution: Being distracted by simple irrelevancies or abstractions. The frustration of not getting what one wants. Grappling more than grasping. Always going after the “sparkling and shining” things, no matter how based in reality. Sexual taboos regarding young people. Seeking revenge. Chasing the unattainable. Frustration and annoyance. Slippery people or objectives. Gullibility.
The Sabian Symbol of Mercury is Gemini 19: IN A MUSEUM A LARGE ARCHAIC VOLUME REVEALS A TRADITIONAL WISDOM
This Symbol speaks of knowledge and wisdom coming through from those who went before. In a progressive world we look so often for new ideas and new solutions and Traditional wisdom is nowadays often ignored. Many old traditions may no longer be relevant to the present but ‘Traditional Wisdom’ is something we can often benefit from. You may be experiencing intuitive wisdom outside of your own experience and potential. This wisdom is inherent in us all and needs merely to be tapped to be understood. Learn from the best of the past. The truths held there are worthy and valuable to you in the now.
Reading, studying and learning. Collective knowledge and wisdom from ancient sources.
Keywords: Reading and learning. Collective knowledge coming from ancient sources. Enormous potential to be tapped. The Akashic records. Astrology. The Bible. Learning from the victories and mistakes of the past. Old stories that come out of the past or are hard to forget. Shamanic knowledge. Learning from heritage. The roots of civilization. Books. Ancient sources of information. The mysteries. Being in the public domain.
The Caution: Not understanding wise messages or advice. Being caught up in accepting only what tradition dictates. Old fashioned rules of “the book”. Old and outdated laws.
The Karmic Condition of Mercury is Gemini 18: TWO CHINESE MEN TALKING CHINESE IN A WESTERN CROWD
This Symbol implies being able to find someone to communicate with, even when you’re in what might feel like alien territory. You may feel that you are often surrounded by people who don’t understand you or even suspect your ways of doing things or your motives. Finding someone of like mind or feeling will help you feel more comfortable and secure. Thinking and speaking in your native tongue or a language that reflects your thoughts and beliefs will bring greater ease and comfort. Sharing mutual thoughts can help transcend feelings of alienation and can lead to new understanding.
Keywords: Finding those of like mind. Leaving the “western crowd” behind. People having a specialized language that doesn’t communicate with the larger population. Exclusivity in communication. Interpreting or misinterpreting tones of voice. People being drawn to each other. “Chinese whispers”.
The Caution: Reluctance to adapt. Being with people who don’t share the same philosophies or understandings. No one to communicate with on the same level. Stories that get out of control. Depending on others to mirror one’s self. Being in alien territory. Schizophrenia. Hearing voices. Racism.
The Quest Degree of Mercury at this new Moon is Gemini 20: A CAFETERIA WITH AN ABUNDANCE OF CHOICES
This Symbol shows the wide range of nourishment, opportunity and the ability to have things in our modern world. There are so many choices but each choice has its price, so be careful what you choose. Each will nourish you, but some things are far more nourishing and sustaining than others. However, there is so much on display and available that if you don’t like your first choice you can get something else – that is if you can afford it. Take what you need, enjoy it and realize the abundance that’s happening in your life. Make sure that what you get is good quality as many things are not.
Keywords: Overwhelming alternatives in modern society. Satiation. Everything provided for. Self-service. Issues of indulgence and one’s needs satisfied. Salivating over what’s on display. The incredible number of “choices” in a technological society. Too many choices (food, lovers, jobs, opportunities) – so little time. Instant gratification. Takeaway food. Buffet-style meals. Obesity. Chef’s surprises. The need to be discerning. Mechanized systems that don’t require much thought.
The Caution: Taking everything you can simply because it is available, regardless of needs. The inability to make life’s decisions. Things so near, yet so far. The inability to satisfy no matter how much one has. Feeling that one has to eat because it’s there. Indulgence beyond reason. Indigestion. Waste. Obsession with food. Using up people one by one.
The Sabian Symbol of Venus is Gemini 8: AROUSED STRIKERS SURROUND A FACTORY
This Symbol shows the need, or the desire, to be able to call a halt or go on strike when one feels hard done by or taken advantage of. You may need to stand up for your rights, or perhaps those of others. You have some support from compatriots, but you can become separated from the general situation and may have difficulty finding creative solutions that satisfy everyone. It may help to consider what negotiations can be made to bring things back to a feeling of equilibrium. By withdrawing your energies for a while you will see how important you really are in the situation.
Keywords: Bargaining to find more equitable solutions. Demanding better rights and conditions. Comradeship. Disruption of the normal flow. Not wanting to contribute or work. Taking time out to consider one’s position. Taking action or refusing to act. Labor strikes and strikers. Demonstrations. Peace rallies. Standing up for others. Scab labor. Sweat shops. Slave labor. Strikes. Bosses. Workers. Placard waving.
The Caution: Being obsessed with what is desired. Refusing any compromises. Going without one’s due in order to protest. Being locked out because of one’s actions or attitude. Being left out in the street. Greedy behavior. Asking for more than one’s share. Overworked and underpaid. Shutting down.
The Sabian Symbol of the Quest Degree is Gemini 9: A MEDIEVAL ARCHER STANDS WITH THE EASE OF ONE WHOLLY SURE OF HIMSELF, BOW IN HAND, HIS QUIVER FILLED WITH ARROWS
This Symbol implies the ability of being able to take aim at something and achieving a bull’s eye, straight at the target. You need to be sure of what you want, to make sure your aim is true, arm yourself and then going after what you want. Your situation is one that requires skill, focus and knowledge of local conditions. There is no need to just rush forward hoping for the best, as this will only leave you feeling inadequate when you do find something. Compose yourself for a moment and realize that you have the ammunition and the sure marksmanship before taking aim and committing yourself.
Keywords: Being armed and ready. Having the aim and ammunition. Accuracy and strength. Getting to the point. The power of tension. Sending a message true and clear. Skills that create confidence and assurance. Focus. Bulls-eyes. Bows and arrows. Warriors. The determination to prevail.
The Caution: Going into battle unprepared. Overconfidence in one’s mission. Being trigger-happy. Someone “cocksure” of themselves. Threatening postures of attack or defense. Always being on the alert for any opportunity to fight. The thug.
Mars is on Aries 26: A MAN POSSESSED OF MORE GIFTS THAN HE CAN HOLD
This Symbol often shows someone who has more talent, more possessions, and more gifts than most other people. Perhaps too much is demanded or expected of you or you expect life to give you more and more and more. Recognize that you are surrounded by abundance, but perhaps you are unable to experience it all at once. If you don’t feel you have the ability to cope with all that life throws at you then look in your ‘storehouse’ and you could be surprised at talents you have that have never even been used.
Keywords: Potentials and the obsessions they can bring. Obsessions about “having things” or achieving goals. Counting one’s blessings. Jack-of-all-trades. Having to drop the bundle if one more thing is added. Being talented and blessed. Enormous responsibilities. Wanting to contain all possibilities. Storage. So many things to do—so little time.
The Caution: Not being able to focus on one issue at a time, or on ideas of real worth and therefore not really achieving anything. Inability to gain or contain everything that is desired. Ambition that knows no bounds. Greediness and insatiability. Being told that you can’t have what you want. Things piling up. Juggling and dropping the ball. Feeling as though you will lose everything. Being overwhelmed with possibilities.
The Sabian Symbol of the Quest Degree of Mars is Aries 27: THROUGH IMAGINATION, A LOST OPPORTUNITY IS REGAINED
This Symbol shows the talent or the ability to be able to use inner creative energy to revitalize ideas or opportunities that seemed to be lost. Whatever it is that you need to do, believe that it is possible and create an image in your mind and you will most likely succeed at gaining it or recovering it. Always take heart; there is energy here to recapture things that seemed to be lost. Visualizing what you want, allowing time and watching for it to manifest can bring astounding results. Sometimes, however, the “lost opportunities regained” are in a different form than we had first imagined.
Keywords: Creative imagination and visualization. Hopes renewed when all seemed lost. Second chances. Last minute reprieves. Retracing your steps. Judging things to be positive when once they were thought to be negative. Being exonerated or forgiven. Pardons giving release. Imagineering. Retrieving things. Making up for lost ground or time. Changing your mind therefore changing your outcome.
The Caution: Relying on self-pity. Denying the imagination to recover the situation. Not noticing solutions to problems. Letting chances for recovery disappear through inaction or laziness. Going over and over lost opportunities. Finding it impossible to let go. Staring at loss and not realizing what one has.
Jupiter is on Aries 8: A WOMAN’S HAT WITH STREAMERS BLOWN BY THE EAST WIND
Allow traditional wisdom to lead you to new and different solutions, but be wary of acting superficially. In deeper, spiritual messages you are afforded protection from the more disturbing elements of situations. You may need to adjust continually to outside forces, but you have the ability to be adaptable, so hang onto your center and what anchors you and try not to get blown off-course.
Keywords: Attuning oneself through Eastern philosophies. Protective guidance. Balloons and hot-air ballooning. Compasses. Weather vanes and wind chimes. East meets west. Being adaptable to the moment. The winds of time and change. Shifts in the ‘Wind’ bringing shifts in attitude or direction. Hats, scarves, streamers.
The Caution: Only accepting solutions that satisfy selfish or social needs. Insincere and easily blown around. Fickleness. Being tossed around by momentary patterns in the “weather”. Conflicting ideals. Forgetting things in a moment. Being easily distracted. Changing course midstream. Being blown off the path, thereby losing ones center or way. Breezes that disturb ones equilibrium. Losinng yourself in other’s opinions.
The Sabian Symbol of retrograde Saturn is Aquarius 25: A BUTTERFLY WITH THE RIGHT WING MORE PERFECTLY FORMED
This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to find balance, to find your center so that you might be more effective, stable and organized in your life. As the “Butterfly” has a “Right Wing More Perfectly Formed”, you may be applying your rational logical mind out of balance to your intuitive and creative wisdom, or, vice versa. It is often harder to understand your intuitive messages, but reliance on logic can limit your possibilities. However, not applying logic can lead to big problems as well. There can be physical handicaps which may prevent one from truly doing what one wants, or strange imbalances on the spiritual level.
Keywords: Rising above life’s distortions. A need to bring some type of balance to situations. Injuries or problems with hands or arms. One side being more ‘Perfect’ than the other. The ‘Right’ being better than the left. Mutations. Handicaps. Challenges. Disabilities. Impediments.
The Caution: Imbalances and physical distortions. Asymmetry. An imbalance of functions leading to involuntary flapping around. Distortions of reactions or of the truth. Lopsidedness. Hindrances. Being at a disadvantage. Feeling incapacitated.
The Sabian Symbol of Uranus is Taurus 18: A WOMAN AIRING AN OLD BAG THROUGH A SUNNY WINDOW TO GIVE IT AIR AND SUNSHINE
This Symbols speaks of clearing up clutter, washing and purifying and bring and air and light to situations. It often symbolizes psychotherapy and other self help disciplines that cleanse and purify the mind, emotions and soul. There is often the need to clean out your cupboards, along with your old habits and routines. By keeping everything in your inner self, you can cause a clutter that is restricting. Bring these things to the outer world and see if they are still relevant in the light of day, discarding those that don’t measure up.
Keywords: Psychoanalysis. Past life regressions or memories. Doing domestic chores with a feeling of purpose. Work shopping ideas. Bringing light and freshness to old feelings. Renewal. Throwing out the old or outlived. Cleaning out rooms. Renovations. Letting the sunshine in.
The Caution: Expecting others to take responsibility for cleaning up and airing out. Hanging on to outworn things and memories. Airing one’s ‘dirty laundry’ in public. Rehashing old situations. Going over the same ground over and over. Bringing up issues when it’s inappropriate. Depressed attitudes.
The Sabian Symbol of retrograde Neptune is Pisces 26: A NEW MOON REVEALS THAT IT’S TIME FOR PEOPLE TO GO AHEAD WITH THEIR DIFFERENT PROJECTS
This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to be able to see, or to accept, when it’s time for people to move on or to part from each other. They need to “Go Ahead With Their Different Projects” – their focus has changed and, quite possibly, parted ways. There’s a picture here of new beginnings. People will have their own response to situations – everyone will not react in the same way. At times in your life, you’ll have this “New Moon”, and decide to go your separate ways. It can be a good idea to direct some energy into your desires or projects at the time of the new moon. Light a candle and state your intentions with honesty and love.
Keywords: Diversifying. Applying talents in a different direction. People splitting up and splitting off. New opportunities and potentials. The beginning of a new age. Letting go of the old and outworn. Separations. Embracing one’s future without the need for others. Coming to a fork in the road. Divorces. New jobs, directions and destinies. The dawning of a new era.
The Caution: Not giving, or receiving emotional support. Feeling split off and alone, even when one is with others. The fear and loathing of possible separation. Overthrowing the old too quickly. Changing direction unexpectedly. The fear of old age. Relationships that fail again and again.
The Sabian Symbol of retrograde Pluto is Capricorn 28: A LARGE AVIARY
This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to be able to take in a lot of information, to be social, yet have some time alone. The “Large Aviary” has a lot of citizens, all buzzing around, all interacting and full of life. There is a lot of chattering and flitting from one thing to another going on and while there is no harm being done, perhaps, sometimes, there’s nothing much really being achieved. Is this because there is a level of mental confusion happening? At the least there is likely to be a feeling of brotherhood and not being alone. Finding time alone can be difficult.
Keywords: Clairaudience. Hearing many inner voices. Having a huge entourage or crowd. Tinnitus. Enormous activity. Many people living their individual lives in one space. Blocks of flats and units. Housing estates. Birds, aviaries, bird seed. Perches. People chattering. Girls sharing. Lots to say. Little true content. Confined living spaces. Communicating solely with those in the immediate environment. Living in a world of one’s own with no thought of the realities of how other people live. Having to get along with others. Caged birds. Social media. Twitter.
The Caution: Mental confusion bringing a lack of discernment. Too much chatter with not much being achieved. False sense of freedom. Chattering more than doing. Finding it hard to find peace, harmony or privacy. Lonely existences. Abandoned living spaces. Dependence on external sources of nourishment or other provisions.
The Sabian Symbol of Chiron is Aries 17: TWO PRIM SPINSTERS SITTING TOGETHER IN SILENCE
This Symbol shows that quiet withdrawal might be just what you need, but it is easy to become isolated in conservative, albeit moral, ideas. You may find that there is only a select, restricted group with whom you wish to associate. Be wary that this false sense of security doesn’t isolate you from change and growth. Unresolved issues can lead to stunted emotional responses. Look for opportunities to open up to new possibilities.
Keywords: The need to loosen up emotional blockages. The struggle to hold onto one’s original identity. Compromise because of social expectations. Meditations that communicate. Exclusive relationships. Relationships that have a quiet “knowing”. Dignified silence. Inner withdrawal. Communicating through body language.
The Caution: Emotional isolation. Refusing to accept relationship. Pretending to be someone that one is not. Disapproval of younger, more vital energies. Being fussy and judgmental. Chattering that is not conducive to growth or true relating. Gossip. Difficulty in communicating. Being shutoff, or shutdown. The loss of joy and spontaneity.
The Moon’s North Node is on Taurus 22: A WHITE DOVE FLYING STRAIGHT AND FEARLESSLY OVER TROUBLED WATERS
This Symbol implies a talent for bringing calm, protection and good tidings to those who need help. Although there may be trouble all around, you are able to rise above this and find safe ground. You may have to cross over into the dark side in order to bring order and safety to people’s lives. Even though you may be lost from sight for a while and people may feel you have abandoned them, you will return and guide them to safety and reassurance. You may need to send a message to those who could be feeling left out and in need of reassurance.
Keywords: Transcending worries through spiritual awareness. Prophetic missions. Peace. Healing messages from the “other side”. Overcoming phobias. Fearlessness. Feelings of immortality. Going straight for the objective. Calming troubled minds. Redemption and messages of hope. Couriers.
The Caution: Being too caught up in worries. Not accepting that things are getting better or accepting reassurance from others. Not being cautious of risks. Being daunted by an ominous task. Gossip. Spreading rumors.
The Sabian Symbol of the Moon’s South Node is Scorpio 22: HUNTERS PROTECTED BY HEAVY CLOTHING ARE SHOOTING WILD DUCKS
This Symbol implies the need for protection of those who are innocent or younger, smaller, or not able to protect themselves. Being an advocate for others, you can shield them from the more harmful elements of society. You may, at times, feel that you are the one that needs to be protected or given shelter or in need of people declaring a ceasefire and amnesty so people can come out into the open and not be afraid to show their true selves. Of course, there is a need for an outlet for aggressive emotions every now and then. Doing so in groups gives this outlet, such as “Shooting Wild Ducks” some sense of acceptability. However, picking on those that are undefended or smaller is really not right, no matter what the terms.
Keywords: Satiating one’s aggressive desires. Being able to hit the mark. Putting up with violence in one’s life, whether physical, mental, spiritual or emotional. Road, and other, types of rage. The armed services and their responsibilities. War. Terrorism in its many forms. Camouflage. Being an armed force. Armaments.
The Caution: Exploitation of those who are more vulnerable. Taking unfair advantage of the innocent or the less experienced. Feeling like a sitting duck. Nowhere to run or hide. Hormones running rampant. Mindless violence. War crimes tribunals. Gang warfare. Indiscriminate actions.
