My fellow Americans. I’ve signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes. President Reagan

No person is your friend who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow. Alice Walker
Never get angry. Never make a threat. Reason with People. Mario Puzo—from the Godfather
Never strike your wife, even with a flower. Hindu proverb
Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Lord Acton
September’s new Moon falls on September 20, and, it’s an interesting one. This is quite a Chironic new Moon, with Chiron (The Stories We Tell Ourselves) smack opposite it. The major themes seem to be around taking note of the voices we pay attention to; the stories, the messages, the inputs, the outputs, the whole thing when it comes to issues of insight into how our minds work and operate, and, how we can change what we need to change, especially if we feel that we’re feeding some kind of negative or self defeating program. Thus, this new Moon is one of analysing and seeing the bigger picture, especially as we are being asked to take hold of our sense of personal authority, step up and put our big people pants on and pull our socks up. Even slight adjustments can move us up and out at the moment, even if we are picking up on the enormous amount of disappointment and frustration that seems to be permeating the atmosphere at the moment.
This new Moon feels like it contains a very strong ‘political message’. The Sun on ‘the man in uniform’, Mercury on ‘the powerful statesman’, Venus on The Unsealed Letter – all of it feels rather political. Of course, all of these degrees will have impact on our personal lives in one way or another. With Mars and Mercury conjunct (closely together) in Virgo, and, Venus now entering Virgo, we may find ourselves analysing things, seeking solutions, wanting to ‘tidy things up a bit’.
There can be a lot of frustration in the air as we may feel like we want to get things going, and, a lot of us feel the urgent need to be doing it, but, there’s a quincunx aspect to Uranus that can feel like things are coming, moving, resolving, but, it may all feel just a little out of our grasp. I describe the quincunx as ‘The Itch That’s Hard To Scratch’. As we might if we have an itch in the middle of a plaster cast on our leg, we may be pushed to come up with inventive methods for scratching it such as bending a wire coat hanger to get to that itch that’s just out of our usual reach.
The message of retrograde Uranus is interesting to note: Aries 28: A LARGE DISAPPOINTED AUDIENCE. There’s no doubt that many people, worldwide, are feeling a deep, or, overlaying, sense of disappointment. It’s been a hectic few months, and, we’ve had a lot of bad news with floods, hurricanes, fires, earthquakes, losses of many kinds, enormous solar flares, etc, etc. It has been almost as though if we look away for a few seconds, when we look back something else horrible has happened (or is unfolding). Of course, there are good things going on as well…. thank goodness. Most of those people reading this have many things to be grateful for, BUT, a lot of us are still battling with feelings of ‘when is it going to get better’? It’s been like a barrage of one thing after another, even if we are not personally affected. Uranus spent a few months on this degree earlier this year, and, it will again next year, so, we are learning the need to see past ‘the disappointment’ and switch our minds to more positive thoughts.
As my wonderful inspirational teacher, Neville Goddard (deceased in the early 70’s) says, we can change things through our ‘own wonderful human imagination’. Uranus will soon give us more opportunities as it goes retrograde (and then direct next year) on Aries 27: THROUGH IMAGINATION, A LOST OPPORTUNITY IS REGAINED. Neville Goddard tells us that our imagination IS God (that’s explaining it in very few words… ), and, indeed, Aries 27 is the degree of Neville Goddard’s Jupiter. I highly recommend the audios of his lectures on Youtube (easily found, there are many). In other words, we create our reality. We know that, but, if you’re like me, we sometimes need reminding :), and, Goddard’s message is entirely on point.
The regaining of lost opportunities can happen at any time, of course, but it is especially true now as the Sun is about to pass over the Super Galactic Center (SPG) in the days following this new Moon. The SGC spans from approx Virgo 29 to Libra 6. Time to make those affirmations, or, as Goddard would put it, ‘make those assumptions (as assumptions harden into fact).
Adding to the desire to get things happening, to break free, to loosen restrictions, etc, (perhaps to run away?), is the upcoming Jupiter/Uranus opposition. This can bring amazing breakthroughs in understanding, in circumstances, in possibilities, in our imaginations. Jupiter is on a degree that speaks of balancing our emotions, especially if we get angry, frustrated and forget to employ love, patience and understanding. Finding equilibrium and remembering to keep a sense of balance can bring interesting challenges, and, we need to remember not to ‘disappoint ourselves’ in the process. Actually, this opposition can bring strokes of good luck and wonderful opportunities, so, we might be surprised to find ourselves heading in a direction we may not have seen possible before now. Even with the frustrations hanging in the air, there can always be ‘good news’.
There’s more that can be said about this new Moon (there always is) but, it is covered in the list of Sabian Symbols for the planets below

The new Moon each month marks a time of new beginnings and realisations. It’s like a birth after a time of gestation or being ‘in the womb’. Here, the light begins to return and we can see new beginnings and possibilities. A new Moon means that the Sun and the Moon are both together – bringing a synergy of their energies together. The new Moon is a perfect time to set your intentions for the future. This period is wonderful for planting seeds of whatever kind. What do you want to manifest in your future? Whether you write it down, sing about it or just hold the thought forms in your mind, doing this at the new Moon can realise some fabulous results around the things that you want to draw into your life
The new Moon is on Virgo 28: A BALDHEADED MAN IN UNIFORM HAS SEIZED POWER – the following is my interpretation of this degree from my book The Sabian Oracle: 360 Degrees of Wisdom –
Commentary: A ‘Baldheaded Man in Uniform Has Seized Power’. This pictures a situation where male power is dominant. The fact that this person is pictured as being ‘Baldheaded’ doesn’t literally have to mean that he is ‘Bald’. Baldness has long been associated with macho strength and testosterone. The fact that he’s seen as being ‘In Uniform’ shows that this person has, or needs to be given, a position of authority or ‘Power’. However, this ‘Uniform’ may give him more of this perceived ‘Power’ than perhaps he should have or deserves to have.
Oracle: This may be the time to ‘Seize Power’ and to push forward with decisions that need to be realized and grounded now. Someone may need to take a stand and direct the course of action. It is most likely by force of will that the best solution will be found, but one must be careful to temper the situation, as strong displays of masculinity could get out of hand very quickly. Somebody may be pushing their agenda a little too hard, taking over and showing control issues. There are times when someone has to take charge—the question is in this situation; are they doing it wisely and kindly? Is love guiding their decisions or are they just being pushy and forceful? If someone is being over the top and bossy, this may be because of feelings of inferiority that they are trying to mask or cover up, especially if they feel that life has passed them by. Reigning in the many facets of one’s personality into a single focus of action can work wonders now.
Keywords: Dominating other’s mental space. Male hormones running rampant. Issues to do with hair. Ponytails. The story of Samson and his hair. Taking positions of power. Uniforms. Demanding others follow one’s lead. Strutting one’s stuff. “Wearing the pants in the family”. The ability to direct and organize many people. Letting others express their opinions or have a say. Domination. The Government. The Military. Decisions based on logic. Taking action or control.
The Caution: Pushing too hard or fast. Ramming one’s convictions. Being unkind and bossy. Putting on a show because one’s in uniform. Power tripping. Being cruel and domineering. Lording it over others. Being opportunistic. Corruption. Misuse of power. Bullying. Big business calling the shots. Domestic violence. Taking charge because one can. Strict rules to live your life by. Taking over. Not listening to what others have to say.
The Karmic Degree for the new Moon is Virgo 27: ARISTOCRATIC ELDERLY LADIES DRINKING AFTERNOON TEA IN A WEALTHY HOME
This Symbol speaks of spending time with others in a setting of privilege in order to take in refreshments and socialize and catch up. Regardless of age or what one’s drinking, gathering with like minded people is good for the soul and brings a sense of communion. There is no need to rush and facing situations with elegant composure brings the respect of others. However, keeping things looking ‘respectable’ may take on too much importance. The question arises: How real about life and each other are the people gathering together? Sharing your time with people who quietly know and understand each other brings peace of mind and happiness.
Keywords: Quite knowing atmosphere. Enjoying the company of others. Special privileges. Taking time off to relax, confident that all is ok. The elite versus the masses. The appreciation of culture. Beauty and wealth. Gossip and chatter. Afternoon teas, brunches and lunches. Charity drives. Being in the group. Exclusivity vs. open armed acceptance. Ladies at the club. Girls having fun. The Quest Degree for the new Moon is Virgo 29: A MAN GAINING SECRET KNOWLEDGE FROM AN ANCIENT SCROLL THEY ARE READING
This Symbol shows the gaining of knowledge, insights and revelations from learning or study. One can learn from the “Ancient” mysteries or from more modern books or publications. The learning is best used by translating the truths into practical applications in one’s life. Going back to the essential truths of the matter; the inner wisdom of the ages, can bring insights and knowledge that opens up whole new understandings. Modern solutions may or may not be so useful or interesting. Understanding will come through patient, steady work and illuminating inspiration.

Being privileged to look into something special. Alchemy. The Bible, the Torah and the Koran. Manuscripts. Scrolls. Ancient writings. Akashic records. Classified documents. Secret papers. Scribes.
The Caution: Failing to acknowledge old wisdom or refusing the new. Losing one’s common sense. Losing touch with reality. Reading importance into things that are not real or useful. Conspiracy theories. Religious zealotry. Feeling gifted over the rest. Finding nothing interesting in the everyday, modern world. Being single-minded.
The Sun symbolizes: One’s core center, spirit, heart, issues to do with father, men, self, ego, your male side. How you radiate your sense of being. What others see, how you are recognized or remembered, sense of identity and connection with male energy – yours and others.
Mercury is on Virgo 13: A POWERFUL STATESMAN OVERCOMES A STATE OF POLITICAL HYSTERIA
This Symbol shows the ability, or the necessity, to be able to calm situations, to solve a crisis, to have a steady hand that shows others that someone is in charge. If this is not operating on a positive level in your life you may want to assess where you need to be doing it. Sometimes our thoughts get out of control, even “Hysterical”, however this is not much use as emotions and events just get whipped up, leading to useless energy flying around. It is through control and the power of your personality that you can resolve situations and bring back a state of equilibrium to all involved.
Keywords: The power to sway the mob. Having the charisma and talent to turn situations around. Elements of personality that get out of control and take over. Pulling the rope tight. Mind control. Political savvy. Knowing what to say and when to say it. Keeping your mouth shut and ears open. Rhetoric. Putting out spot fires. Being motivated. Issues of success.
The Caution: Conscious emotional manipulation and bullying. Misusing energy. Swaying others to personal advantage. Being aggressive, demanding and overbearing. Hypnotic persuasion. Propaganda. Misinformation. Using “political speak” to control. Emotional repression.
The Karmic Degree for Mercury is Virgo 12: A BRIDE WITH HER VEIL SNATCHED AWAY
This Symbol implies the issue of ‘unveiling’ oneself in some way, and you, or someone else, can no longer hide behind a pretense or hide your light. You’re likely to be faced with the moment of moving into a new life and a new sense of identity. Perhaps there’s the feeling that you, or somebody, is not quite ready to give themselves completely to a relationship or situation, but they do not really have much choice. If one doesn’t go willingly, they’ll probably be pushed forward – finally taking the plunge. There can be an unveiling of one’s true identity which can lead to some surprising realizations.
Keywords: Secret motives being revealed. Unveiling or changing identity. Proving oneself with no excuses and no pretense. Breaking down walls. Relating on a deep level. “Honeymoon periods”. The Quest Degree for Mercury is Virgo 14: FINELY LETTERED NAMES AND MYSTERIOUS LINES ARE SEEN; IT IS A FAMILY TREE
This shows deep and abiding connections that come from families and their ancestors and individual family trees. There is a need to feel somehow linked with ancestry, a place or belonging. However, this can speak about you belonging to the larger human family – we are all related. Being able to call upon the deeper inherent knowledge within yourself and what’s been learnt from past experience, possibly from one’s ancestral roots, will help you find great strength. This implies a strong family heritage, but it may come from having a deep connection with people or things that you are not actually related to, but are in your “Family” nonetheless.
Keywords: Strength in tradition. Belonging to a lineage. The story of where one comes from. Issues of pride of heritage. The importance of parents and family. Branches in databases. Having strong and secure roots. Origins and their relevance to today’s life. Ancestors. Calligraphy. Fine pens. Filling in the gaps. Adoptions. Step families. Pedigrees. Kin. Genealogy. Inheritance. Mercury symbolizes: Mind, thought, communication, memory, expression, intelligence. News, exchanges, chatting, conversations, short journeys, connections with others, telephones, emails, siblings, neighbors, the reasoning mind. Day-to-day activities. Cars, keys, small animals.
Venus is on Virgo 1: IN A PORTRAIT, THE BEST OF A PERSON’S TRAITS AND CHARACTER ARE IDEALIZED
This Symbol shows projecting a desired image of yourself or others. Paintings, drawings, caricatures, profiles, portraits – all these are important hallmarks of people. However, the real thing is character. You may need to be a good judge of character and not just “read a book by its cover” = look deeply into people. However, at times, you may need to remind yourself of the true features of people or situations. Is the “true picture” of a person, the “Man’s Features”, presented and recognized. Do you look for the best but avoid undesirable factors? Is this working, or do you sometimes miss the truth?
Keywords: Projection of beauty. Drawings, paintings, photographs, etc. Art, cosmetics, beauty salons. Hairstyles. Elevated thoughts or memories. Taking someone at face value. Visual senses and clues. Recognition. Caricatures of people. Highlighting features. “Identikit” drawings. Visual prototypes. Profiles. Face reading. Written reviews and references. Viewpoints.
The Caution: Not truly assessing people. Vanity. Superficial judgments. Propaganda. Misleading appearances. Tagging people with labels. Misidentifications. Taking someone the wrong way. Seeing only the best, or the worst. Preconceived beliefs. Feeling misunderstood. Prejudice. Projections.
The Karmic Degree for Venus is Leo 30: AN UNSEALED LETTER HAS VITAL AND CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION
This Symbol shows a message that is, or needs to be, spread either by writing it down or speaking it. There can, at times, be a desire to reveal one’s inner feelings; however the opposite can also be true; you may feel very confronted by the thought of wearing your heart on your sleeve. However you transmit this ‘Vital and Confidential Information’, it needs to be done from the heart and with integrity. When this is done the right people can see and benefit from it. Be aware of sharing information that isn’t yours to share or that breaks confidentiality with someone who trusts you.
Keywords: Wearing your heart on your sleeve. Shared thoughts and feelings. Declaring what needs to be said. “Dear John” letters. Laying one’s self on the line through writing things down. Diaries. Letters. Penmanship. Messages of intent. Things said out loud. Confidences.
The Caution: Playing games with information. Pretending to conceal for the purposes of deceit. Blurting things out. Not giving any indication of what’s thought. Being upset about having things out in the open. Passing on the secrets of others. Revealing things that shouldn’t be revealed.
The Quest Degree for Venus is Virgo 2: A LARGE WHITE CROSS DOMINATES THE LANDSCAPE
In the situation facing you, you may feel like you’re being treated like a scapegoat “hung out to dry”; punished for doing something or being different or special. Signposts and other expressions of faith have a powerful influence. Instead of having a “cross to bear’, we can work at realigning ourselves with our true desires and allegiances. This can lead to a stronger sense of purpose and spirituality, dissipating feelings of sacrifice, separation or loneliness. Believing that suffering is the way to salvation has significance for many, but what does it really mean? Don’t sacrifice for others; you may not get much appreciation for doing it anyway.
Keywords: Religious ideals dominating. The fear or the wonder of God. Following a mystic path. The need to find a savior. Being alone and forgotten. Monuments to pain and suffering. Tributes to or memories of those lost or gone before. Reminders of salvation. Images of redemption. The Church. Christianity and other religions. Martyrdom. The Inquisition.
The Caution: Aloneness and/or sacrifice or the yearning for it. Dogmatism. Scapegoating. Days in the wilderness alone. Religion dictating against one’s desires or needs. Symbols that inspire guilt and anguish instead of love, acceptance and forgiveness. Institutions disregarding individual rights. Lording it over others. Bullying under the guise of religion. Imposing figures.
Venus symbolizes: Relatedness, cooperation, what attracts you. The experience of sweetness, beauty or delight. Social interactions, love, friends, how you reach out to people. Feminine persona, relationship with mother and females. Money, possessions, sense of values.
Mars is on Virgo 10: TWO HEADS LOOKING OUT AND BEYOND THE SHADOWS
This Symbol implies the ability to see things from many sides, not just one. You may be able to, or need to, see things from two perspectives. This can be a marvelous asset, particularly with the Virgo ability to discriminate and make observations. This Symbol can also imply split personalities or not being able to make one’s mind up. Further, it can show situations where two people are checking each other out, but aren’t able, or allowed, to show themselves, they’re “Beyond the Shadows”. This Symbol asks that you look beyond situations and into the light. People may be afraid to take a chance, just ‘looking out’ and not moving forward.
Keywords: Duality of observation or thought. Being able to see both sides of a situation. Fear being the opposite of faith. People peering and peeking. Secret service and government agencies. Gunfights of the old west. Trench warfare. The media, the press, paparazzi, spies, private detectives. Conspiracy theories. Crossed eyes. Eavesdropping. Voyeurism.
The Caution: Confused by duality of thought. Failing to see the integration and cohesion of more than one perspective. Schizophrenia. Fear freezing up positive attitudes. Debates. Stalemates. Making assumptions without the relevant information. Quarrelling. Not seeing the light. Inability to agree. Bickering with others or with one’s self.
The Quest Degree for Mars is Virgo 11: CHILDREN MOLDED IN THEIR PARENT’S ASPIRATIONS
This Symbol implies having to live up to others’ expectations. It’s fine to be moulded by people’s desires or by our parents, but often this does not reflect our true potential. The “Parent” often misses the truth of the offspring and may be projecting their own unlived life. Taking back one’s sense of individuality and going after what you really want will probably lead to more success in your life. Worrying about what others want, expect or think can lead to shallow choices or responses. On the other hand, this can show people being proud of what you’ve achieved and who you’ve grown into.
Keywords: Being directed on the journey or shaped against one’s free will. Plastic or cosmetic surgery. Building the physical or emotional shape. Finding one’s way or destiny. Predetermined destinies. Looking like one’s mother or father. The challenge of individuality. DNA. Parents as patterns. Allowing others to dictate who you are. Inherited values. Following in the family’s footsteps.
The Caution: Remaining tied to the apron strings of mother or others. Conforming to social expectations. Not having a clear sense of what one wants to be. Being a reflection of what somebody else wants. Being a “mummy’s boy”. Not having the free will of one’s own. Living the unlived life of the parents. Squashed individuality. Letting down the side.
Mars symbolizes: Drive, determination or agenda, how you get to your goals. How you express and handle anger, ambition, assertion of self and ability to step forward. The male principle, sexuality, the ability to step up to the plate when one needs to. Fight or flight.
Jupiter is on Libra 26: AN EAGLE AND A LARGE WHITE DOVE TURNING CONSTANTLY INTO EACH OTHER
This Symbol implies the ability, or the necessity, of being able to integrate the principle of the will (the “Eagle”) with the principle of the emotions (the “White Dove). Being able to bring these two together makes for a much stronger effect on others and the personality is strengthened and given an edge that it otherwise might not have. There may be confusion around whether to use force or love in some situations. Being firm and yet kind, being flexible and yet sure of what you’re doing or where you’re heading keeps one on an even keel. Alternation of these responses will lead to the best solution.
Keywords: Tempering one’s will with love and bolstering up one’s emotional responses with strength. Cooperation of mind, will, spirit and heart. Schizophrenia. Eagles and doves. Being strong and soft at the same time. Adopting the attitudes of spirit, power and love.
The Caution: Being “all over the place” with reactions. Being changeable. Not acting for the purpose of a definite outcome. Confusing others with conflicting behavior. Not knowing what to expect next. On one minute—off the next.
Jupiter symbolizes: The big picture, expansion, exploration, aspirations, religious and philosophical ideals, issues to do with traveling, foreign lands, people and traditions, culture, education, generosity, luck, abundance, support, optimism. Insight through knowledge and wisdom.
Saturn is on Sagittarius 22: A CHINESE LAUNDRY
This Symbol pictures situations where people may not be taken seriously, are expected to perform in a stereotypical way or are shut away because of their culture, or language, or because of racial prejudice. In a “Chinese Laundry” people are often working very hard with little free time and expected to do the ‘dirty work’ for others for very little in return. Be careful not to shut yourself away as there can be the danger of closing your mind to other options, opportunities and possibilities. This can also picture situations where people are working closely together, speaking the same language, although here, too, there can still be alienation and loneliness.
Keywords: Restrictive expectations. Relations with others because of social duty. Performing tasks. Mediocrity, or the fear of it. Washing machines and dryers. Money and other laundering. Laws and legislation based on social and racial inequality. Issues of belonging. Cleaning up for others. The search for purity. Institutions that inhibit individuality. Convents. Stereotyping people. Work and the rewards it should bring.
The Caution: Giving in to prejudice. Self-inflicted sense of inferiority that can lead to missed opportunities for relating. Feeling trapped with no way out. Not being taken seriously. Doing menial jobs with little reward or real return. Slave labor. Lack of individual identity. Shutters to keep the world out.
Saturn symbolizes: Authority, rules, discipline and obligation The heavy stuff. What we fear, loss, karma, aging, the establishment, orthodoxy, tradition, status, the concept of time, walls, boundaries, limits, older people, restrictions, patience, conquering difficulties.
Uranus is retrograde on Aries 28: A DISAPPOINTED LARGE AUDIENCE
This Symbol shows a sense of being an observer or a spectator, sometimes more than being a participant. You may have an inner critic that analyses things. In fact you might feel as though you, or someone else, have failed and left something wanting. But how much is this because too much was expected in the first place? The ‘Audience’ sometimes only remembers the last performance, so get up and try again. Be aware that you may be your own ‘audience’. Do you feel that things have or haven’t lived up to expectations? Are you missing out through negative projections? Perhaps your need to feel satisfied, to perform or be fulfilled should be more realistic.
Keywords: Adjustments of expectations bringing realizations about what is really possible. Expecting the response of others. Walking out during a performance. Not listening to something through a lack of interest. Anticipating a different result from what is delivered. Relying on feedback. Lines and queues of people. Criticism. The need to inspire and enthuse.
The Caution: Feeling sad, sorry or letdown because of defeat and frustration. A lot of people left feeling emotionally “wiped-out”. Shattering of illusions. Fickleness. The attitude that one can’t do anything. Everything being out of one’s control. Watching what’s going on and not participating. Being at the mercy of the whims and fancies of others. Judging and analyzing oneself or others. Too many people crammed into one spot. Not getting a seat. Refusal of entry. Booing and hissing.
Uranus symbolizes: The unexpected, things that are individual or ‘different’. Charged, energetic dynamics, electricity, light, lightning bolts, sudden changes, those who live on the fringe of society. Sudden turns and twists of fate. Rebellion, surprises, liberation, freedom.
Neptune is retrograde on Pisces 13: A SWORD, USED IN MANY BATTLES, IS NOW IN A MUSEUM
This shows knowing when to stop battling in life, when to lay down one’s “Sword” and take up a higher position that reflects a more intelligent or spiritual way of being in the world. Sometimes, when reminded of the battles of the past, we are influenced towards actions that ensure peace. We are uplifted by the symbolic memory of past deeds of valor, although stings of defeat may be part of the story. You may be faced with the choice of fighting or reasoning which is confused by your lack of training or experience in the ways of “Battle”. Don’t go down with the ship. It helps to lay down one’s ‘sword’ – not in order to surrender, but to stop the ‘warring’
Keywords: Willpower. Martial arts. Putting aside thoughts of vengeance and revenge. Hanging up or laying down one’s ‘Sword’. Trophies of conquest that remind us of the past. History. Aging and maturing. Retirement. Remnants of battles. Souvenirs of the past. “Words as swords”. The Spear of Destiny. The Sword Excalibur. Disarming weapons. The search for truth and justice. Suits of armor. Peace at last. Sexual impotence.
The Caution: A lack of sensitivity. A pretense of one’s abilities. Giving up and “falling on one’s sword” from defeat. Grudges. Wanting to go into ‘Battle’ at the slightest excuse. Selfish agendas. Weapons of mass destruction or weapons of mass distraction? Pre-emptive strikes. Defensive behavior. Domestic violence.
Neptune symbolizes: Mystical, “out there,” spirituality and con artists. Dreams, mysteries, mystics and religious issues. Intuition, clairvoyance, seeing into the invisible. Addictive, chaotic, charming, deceptive, illusory, co dependent, sensory awareness.
Pluto is retrograde on Capricorn 17: A YOUNG WOMAN SURREPTITIOUSLY BATHING IN THE NUDE
This Symbol shows getting rid of the restraints imposed by social conditioning and inhibitions; to strip down to bare essentials and not be ashamed of it. The “Young Person” is enjoying the feeling of not having clothes or costume to constrain or cover them. They are also letting the sun and the air contact their skin which is very healthy and revivifying. Although there may be some feelings of being ‘exposed’, really letting go and not worrying about being ‘seen’ can lead to feelings of freedom. This applies to a freeing up or exposing on a spiritual and emotional level as well, it’s not confined to physical realities.
Keywords: Confrontations with one’s self. Reconnecting with nature. A desire to “reveal” oneself mentally, physically or emotionally. Issues with weight. The manipulation of the female form in the media. Exhibitionism. Learning to let go of extraneous things. Confronting puritanism. Being at one with the environment. Releasing inhibitions. Stripping. Streaking. Sun lotions.
The Caution: Suppression of natural attitudes. Bondage to inhibitions. Exhibitionist. Revealing too much. Showing off. Lack of concern for others’ feelings. Sexual exploitation.
Pluto symbolizes: Unconscious motivations, depth psychology, history. Sex, procreation at a deep level, intensity, profound emotions, taking hold of one’s power. Being king or queen of one’s underworld. Strength, survival mode instincts. Big money. Big power. The Plutocracy. Power vs power struggles.
Chiron is retrograde on Pisces 27: A HARVEST MOON ILLUMINATES THE SKY
This shows recognizing the riches in one’s life, the beauty and wonder of life, to have a sense of achievement and of a job well done. Along with a wonderful ability to be able to see and vision things, this Symbol often brings a satisfying sense of abundance; it’s a time of ‘Harvest’, the sky is clear and conditions are perfect. The “Harvest Moon” is a positive sign, with high energy as it’s a time of fertility, abundance and “Illumination”. Reap the benefits of the work that’s been done; it takes a while to bring in the harvest. Take some time out to celebrate and connect with family and loved ones.
Keywords: Situations that are very ripe and full of fruition. Celebrating what you have. Expanded perspective making everything clear. A sense of achievement. Seizing the moment to make the most of what’s possible. Nature’s bounty. The beauty of the moon in the night sky. Talk unbelief, and you will have unbelief; but talk faith, and you will have faith. According to the seed sown will be the harvest. Ellen G. White
The Caution: Neglecting tasks because of the appearance of abundance. Achievements waning because of neglect. Lunatic behavior. Not being able to sleep. Illusions.
Chiron symbolizes: Our wounds, Chiron is known as The Wounded Healer. The wounds are The Stories That We Tell Ourselves, it is where we have to focus on healing, it can show things that are out of shape or misplaced or in need of repair.
The Moon’s North Node is on Leo 24: TOTALLY CONCENTRATED UPON INNER SPIRITUAL ATTAINMENT, A YOGI IS SITTING
This Symbol shows a ‘Hindu Yogi’ sitting in contemplation, concentrating on inner spiritual attainment. It implies a desire to contact spirit and to be in touch with one’s body, often through the practice of meditation or yoga. This is a wonderful degree of spiritual striving, however there could be a feeling of imbalance; it is as if some aspects of your life are put on hold in favor of some central issue. Being too committed to spiritual or emotional concerns can lead one to lose touch with more immediate, physical matters. However, a sense of focus on something that is very important can bring enormous rewards.
Keywords: Issues of how we view and value our bodies. Fixation on exercise and nutrition at the expense of more spiritual or emotional issues. Eating disorders. Gymnasiums and physical fitness issues. Spiritual gurus. Yoga and yogis. Living for the future. Extreme states of meditation. Total concentration. Breatharians.
The Caution: Not paying attention to the body or physical needs OR being bound up in physical fitness denying one’s emotional and spiritual needs. Obsessions.
The Moon’s North Node symbolizes: This is known as quite a ‘karmic point’ (although all planets and points in a chart can be’karmic’). One’s destiny in this life. The things you are meant to integrate, move towards, become. Destined relationships and relationship issues can show up here.
The Moon’s South Node is on Aquarius 24: A PERSON TURNING HIS BACK ON HIS PASSIONS TEACHES DEEP WISDOM FROM THEIR EXPERIENCE
This shows transcending difficulties and things that lure you off your path. You can then turn around and be an example to others of how they can live their lives. You may feel that you can no longer survive the roller-coaster ride of your emotions. It is by controlling your “Passions” that you will be able to find an objective position that allows you to understand your life and to move forward. You can benefit everyone by teaching the new wisdom and understanding that come after having gone through some hard life lessons.
