Everyone is a moon, and has a dark side which he never shows anyone. Mark Twain

March’s Pisces new Moon occurs on March 17 in the United States, and, March 18 in Australia. This is a very interesting new Moon in that, particularly in the few days after this lunation, Mars is so incredibly highlighted and energized. Mars is square the Sun, the Moon and Chiron, and, Mars is about to go into Capricorn, marking a change of energies as it leaves Sagittarius. Mars is more effective, and, ‘at home’ in Capricorn, but, with these squares to this new Moon and Chiron, we may feel as though we are being asked (pushed, prodded, forced…) to make some changes, to stand up for what we believe, to identify where we might perhaps be selling ourselves short by not speaking up, by not thinking things through from our own perspective, from the center of our being.

I find this new Moon to be very intriguing in that the Sabian Symbol for it is very lunar, and, the two degrees either side of this new Moon are ‘lunar’ degrees, as well. To explain:

The Karmic Degree for the Moon is Pisces 26: A NEW MOON REVEALS THAT IT’S TIME FOR PEOPLE TO GO AHEAD WITH THEIR DIFFERENT PROJECTS

The New Moon is on Pisces 27: A HARVEST MOON ILLUMINATES THE SKY

The Quest Degree for the Moon is Pisces 28: A FERTILE GARDEN UNDER THE FULL MOON

So, this new Moon seems to hold a lot of ‘lunar energy‘. It’s also interesting to note that the Sabian Symbols came through the spiritualist medium Elsie Wheeler in 1925 in a double-blind test: Elsie had no idea what sign or degree she was ‘seeing’ when she was ‘seeing’ the Sabian Symbols coming through, and, to have these ‘moon degrees’ at the end of Pisces, and, indeed, a ‘Harvest Moon’ at the end of Pisces when the ‘harvest moon’ is the full Moon occuring closest to the autumnal equinox (most often this occurs in the Virgo/Pisces axis). Quite extraordinary, the entire thing.

On a personal note, twice in my life I have asked Elsie Wheeler, through my Oracle, for a message about my work with the Sabian Symbols, and, both times, I got Pisces 27: A HARVEST MOON ILLUMINATES THE SKY. This degree quite often is also seen as A HARVEST MOON ILLUMINATES THE LANDSCAPE. I have a whole, rather long, story about this that I won’t go into here, but, suffice to say that I had several signs to confirm that my work does need to ‘illuminate Elsie’s landscape’. Making this more interesting to me is the fact that my Moon is smack on (to the minute) Elsie’s ascendant, and, as I was born right on a full Moon, my Sun is right on her descendant = my ‘lights’ are to ‘illuminate her landscape’.

I wanted to include that little story as it is so important to me and yet I still grasp at some abstractions around it. So, this new Moon has this ‘lunar’ Moon degree, and, Mercury and Venus both have Sabian Symbols that speak about the Sun…

Mercury is on Aries 15: AN INDIAN WEAVING A BLANKET IN THE LIGHT OF THE SETTING SUN

The Quest Degree for Venus is Aries 15: AN INDIAN WEAVING A BLANKET IN THE LIGHT OF THE SETTING SUN

The Quest Degree for Mercury is Aries 16: BRIGHTLY CLAD BROWNIES DANCING IN THE WARM DYING LIGHT (the setting Sun)

The Quest Degree for Venus is Aries 15: AN INDIAN WEAVING A BLANKET IN THE LIGHT OF THE SETTING SUN

And, Mercury and Venus are exactly trining the Moon’s north node. This is a great omen for getting straight around our thinking, our intentions, our relationships, etc.

Another really excellent aspect in this new Moon chart is the trine from stationary retrograde Jupiter on Scorpio 24: CROWDS COMING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN TO LISTEN TO ONE INSPIRED INDIVIDUAL. This is very interesting, and, there are likely to be several ‘inspired individuals’, along with some who may just think that they are ‘inspired’, or, are hankering after an audience when really, a lot of people might wish they’d just keep quiet or keep to themselves or just go away ;) The real trick of Jupiter sitting for some weeks on this degree is to take extra note of what we say, what we think, what we hear, what we pay attention to, who we listen to. This Scorpio 24 Symbol often speaks of offices like the president of the US, or, the prime minister of some country – this Symbol definitely tends to speak about someone having a big audience, a loud voice, lots to say, etc. Using it, or, responding to it wisely, is one of the tricks to this degree.

It’s interesting to note that Mercury goes retrograde on March 23, and, it’s on a degree that can talk about not talking, not saying enough, not conversing, not communicating (this can be a good, or, a not so good thing, depending on your circumstances). Mercury goes retrograde on Aries 17: TWO PRIM SPINSTERS SITTING TOGETHER IN SILENCE. Of course, only you know how that is going to affect you, still, for sure, we are likely to see some very interesting effects from this retrograde.

So, this is a very ‘illuminating’ new Moon. It’s curious that the end of Pisces is so lunar, and, mid Aries is so solar (in the wording of the Symbols)… just a little observation. Of course, my Moon on Elsie’s ascendant and my Sun on her descendant are very interesting factors for me. I do wonder if this is a sign that my work, or, just the general work (of myself and others), of the Sabian Symbols is about to take a leap forward.

So, there’s all of that and it’s ramifications (I find it to be fascinating…).

With Mars in such a strong position squaring this new Moon and Chiron, and, with Chiron conjunct (together with) this new Moon, we are being asked to really examine what is happening in our lives. With Mars so highlighted, and, leaving Sagittarius and entering Capricorn, how are we expressing our desires, our anger, our responses? I know that many are feeling highly frustrated, angry even, about what’s going on in the world, and, we might find ourselves responding rather too quickly to stimuli – we might do well to count to ten before responding, or, we might decide that some issues are not worth responding to at all. Certainly the first degree of Capricorn is a good one to remember as Mars enters Capricorn. It’s Capricorn 1: AN INDIAN CHIEF CLAIMS POWER AND RECOGNITION FROM THE ASSEMBLED TRIBE. I will say more about this degree below, in my analysis of the Symbols.

This is very likely to be a time of major decisions on many levels as Pluto and Venus go into a square aspect next week with Venus on Aries 21: A BOXER ENTERING THE RING.

What an interesting time!

There’s always more to say, but, you can find some added information by looking at the Sabian Symbol placements below.

The new Moon each month marks a time of new beginnings and realisations. It’s like a birth after a time of gestation or being ‘in the womb’. Here, the light begins to return and we can see new beginnings and possibilities. A new Moon means that the Sun and the Moon are both together – bringing a synergy of their energies together. The new Moon is a perfect time to set your intentions for the future. This period is wonderful for planting seeds of whatever kind. What do you want to manifest in your future? Whether you write it down, sing about it or just hold the thought forms in your mind, doing this at the new Moon can realise some fabulous results around the things that you want to draw into your life.

The New Moon is on Pisces 27: A HARVEST MOON ILLUMINATES THE SKY – the following is my interpretation of this degree from my book – The Sabian Oracle: 360 Degrees Of Wisdom

Commentary: ‘A Harvest Moon Illuminates the Sky’. This is an extraordinary Symbol, considering the fact that these Symbols came through the clairvoyant, Elsie Wheeler, in random order. It’s extraordinary because the ‘Harvest Moon’ can very easily fall on this degree, as the ‘Harvest Moon’ is calculated as the full moon occurring nearest to the autumnal equinox in the northern hemisphere, about September 23. On several nights in succession, at this time of the year, the moonrise is at nearly the same time, because of the relation of the moon’s path to the horizon. On these nights, there is full moonlight almost from sunset to sunrise if the sky is unclouded.

Oracle: This Symbol shows an abundant time of ‘Harvest’. The ‘Harvest Moon’ is a positive sign, with high energy abounding. The sky is clear and conditions are perfect. It’s a time of fertility and abundance, but it is also a sign that there may still be much work to be done. For now, although this can be an opportunity to relax, enjoy, and to conserve strength in anticipation of the tasks ahead. For the time being, you can reap the benefits of the work that’s been accomplished so far. There can be strong feelings of culmination, fertility and fullness. You may feel that it has taken a while to get where you are, and this is a good chance to take some time out to celebrate and reconnect with family and loved ones. Capture this magical moment whilst it lasts, as the energy may start to wane before you know it. However, while it is great now to celebrate the achievements of the ‘Harvest’, it is also a time of self-discipline because the task must be completed or the fruits of one’s labors may go rotten or be wasted. Be sure not to get so carried away in the celebration that you neglect finishing the tasks before you. With all of this light ‘Illuminating’ the night ‘Sky’, take a look around with open eyes and see what can be seen.

Keywords: Situations that are very ripe and full of fruition. Celebrating what you have. Expanded perspective making everything clear. A sense of achievement. Seizing the moment to make the most of what’s possible. Nature’s bounty. The beauty of the moon in the night sky.

The Caution: Neglecting the tasks at hand because of the appearance of abundance. Achievements waning because of neglect. Wasting energy on inconsequential activities. “Lunatic” behaviour. Not being able to sleep.

The Karmic Degree for the Moon is Pisces 26: A NEW MOON REVEALS THAT IT’S TIME FOR PEOPLE TO GO AHEAD WITH THEIR DIFFERENT PROJECTS – this Symbol can often talk about relationship split ups, but, it doesn’t necessarily have to be about that. It can be a situation of feeling like one needs to get on with doing what one needs to be doing, regardless of relationship issues. People can work together very well with this Symbol, BUT, it often does (or can) talk about splitting off…

This shows being able to see, or to accept, when it’s time for people to move on or to part from each other. They need to “Go Ahead With Their Different Projects” – their focus has changed and, quite possibly, they’ve parted ways. There’s a picture here of new beginnings. People will have their own response to situations – not everyone will react in the same way. It can be a good idea to direct some energy into your desires or projects at the time of the new moon. Light a candle and state your intentions with honesty and love.

Keywords: Diversifying. Applying talents in a different direction. People splitting up and splitting off. New opportunities and potentials. The beginning of a new age. Letting go of the old and outworn. Separations. Embracing one’s future without the need for others. Coming to a fork in the road. Divorces. New jobs, directions and destinies. The dawning of a new era.

The Caution: Not giving, or receiving emotional support. Feeling split off and alone, even when one is with others. The fear and loathing of possible separation. Overthrowing the old too quickly. Changing direction unexpectedly. The fear of old age. Relationships that fail again and again.

The Quest Degree for the Moon is Pisces 28: A FERTILE GARDEN UNDER THE FULL MOON

Lucky Moon

This shows enjoying nature and the fruits of your life, your country, your culture. There’s often a sense that one has all that’s needed, and emotions can be running high. The “Fertile Garden” signifies that you have things that you need at your disposal. This Symbol has a strong clairvoyant sense to it, with the ability to pick up on subtle energies and life forms in the environment. You’ll get a lot of opportunities to enjoy the moment, but keep a sense of equilibrium, as soon the energy will be on the wane and you’ll have to get back to more practical, everyday tasks.

Keywords: Fullness and fertility. Peak of energy and experiences. Brilliantly active unconscious life. Cycles. Waiting for the right time to approach or handle a situation. The effect of the moon. Astrology and predictive practices. The time for harvesting the rewards of hard work. Nature sprites. Vegetables, herbs and nature’s bounty.

The Caution: Jealous protection of possessions. Not being able to make one’s mind up because of the number of possibilities. Missed opportunities. Difficulty shutting down the mind. Emotions that get out of hand.

The Moon symbolizes: Emotions, moods, mother, family, clan, domestic issues, relationship to home and country. Feelings, sentiments, nourishment, emotional nurturing, monkey chatter mind, lunar and menstrual cycles, clarity of emotions or lunacy. Female energy – yours and others.

Mercury is slowing down to go retrograde. It’s on Aries 15: AN INDIAN WEAVING A BLANKET IN THE LIGHT OF THE SETTING SUN – what is it that you do well? What story are you weaving into the fabric of your life? Are you feeling good about what you do, what you contribute? Do you feel that what you do is a good reflection of your life, your tribe, family, culture, etc?

This Symbol shows how the traditional skills of life can symbolize the story of both the past and the present. It shows the ability to take time out to create something that is not only useful, but contains the symbols of the story of your life, culture, skills, etc. Also, some things need doing, just because they need to be done. Taking the best materials and taking time to do the job well will ensure a sense of meaning and purpose in your life.

Keywords: The fabric of one’s being. Traditional pastimes and skills. Weaving security and independence. Patience and gentle handcrafting. Stories, especially those handed down. Tales and traditions. Consideration of one’s unique history. Weaving, spinning looms. The warp and weft of life. One’s life story-past and present. Being focused on one’s tasks. Colours, dyes. Threads.

The Caution: Underestimating skills of self-expression in comparison with intellectual skills. Allowing dull routines to overcome. Feeling one hasn’t got much to contribute. Inability to apply to routine and necessary tasks. Being too “full-time” about one’s work. Feeling insecure no matter what the situation. Selling off one’s integrity. Finding that it’s too late in the day to get anything done. Not knowing when to stop.

The Karmic Degree for Mercury is Aries 14: A SERPENT COILING NEAR A MAN AND A WOMAN

This Symbol shows that there is likely to be tense emotion, particularly around relationships. There can be a sense of tension, fear and passion. Situations may arise where something or someone tries to come between you and a beloved. This can be a person, an event or an emotion. Jealousy, temptation, fear, resentment or separation can arise. You may need to learn to let go and find new depths to your ways of relating and relationships. Are you looking for, or have you found, your Garden of Eden?

Keywords: Enticement. Allurement. Revealing archetypal knowledge that may not be “socially acceptable”. Temptations. The Adam and Eve story. Jealousy. Sexual instincts. Life and death issues. Relating based on control. Kundalini energy. Realizing polarity. Individuation. Eating the Apple. The “knowledge of good and evil”. Having one’s eyes opened. Marking one’s territory.

The Caution: Feeling guilty. Being afraid to express one’s feelings. Basic instincts and sexual energy. The fear of knowledge, secret or otherwise. Using sexuality as a control device. Disgust or distrust of the body. Sexually transmitted diseases. Hiding nudity or sexuality. Being thrown out of paradise.

The Quest Degree for Mercury is Aries 16: BRIGHTLY CLAD BROWNIES DANCING IN THE WARM DYING LIGHT – I love this degree, and, I have many stories around it. One thing is for sure with Mercury on this degree (and, it will be on this degree a few times after Mercury goes retrograde), if one asks for help – especially with this degree around – one is very likely to receive it. Helpers just turn up, often rather mystically…

The Brownies Symbol is a magical one and it shows that help, given or received, is always available, especially if you believe it and welcome assistance that’s offered. Sometimes your intuitive powers are at a real high but your physical energy may not be. You may be tired and in need of help to get everything done and a lot may be demanded of you. Have faith that there’s often invisible assistance around you. You are always being guided and protected. Open your mind to possibilities and listen to the messages from within. Of course, you could be a ‘Brownie’ for someone else, assisting others when they need it.

Keywords: Reveling in nature. Believing in guides. Fairies and nature spirits. The wonder and awe of nature. The setting sun. Last minute preparations before evening. The psychic magic of dusk. Light that dances. Unseen guardians. Receiving guidance and help. Seeing the invisible. Help at the last minute. Fairy godmothers. Questions of: what is the “real” world?

The Caution: Self-delusions. Missing the true picture of what’s happening in the “real-world”. Losing the plot. Relying on others, including angels, nature spirits, etc., instead of yourself. Neglecting responsibilities. Crying wolf. Using people.

Mercury symbolizes: Mind, thought, communication, memory, expression, intelligence. News, exchanges, chatting, conversations, short journeys, connections with others, telephones, emails, siblings, neighbors, the reasoning mind. Day-to-day activities. Cars, keys, small animals.

Venus is on Aries 14: A SERPENT COILING NEAR A MAN AND A WOMAN

The Karmic Degree for Venus is Aries 13: A BOMB WHICH FAILED TO EXPLODE IS NOW SAFELY HIDDEN FROM DISCOVERY

This Symbol shows that explosive elements need discharging. Pressure cooker energy needs to be released, but it often needs to be done slowly and carefully. By keeping a sense of control, one can handle wild situations, elements or people without things getting out of hand. Be an example to others of how calmness and quiet can take the charge out of things. Take whatever opportunities you can to defuse elements as an explosion often damages more than is expected. You may have to hide something away so things don’t get crazy, but with some careful thought, all should be well.

Keywords: Pressure valves. Getting away with something. Tantrums and frustration. Tempers that simmer. Explosive behavior. Bombs, explosions. Sudden and forceful events. Intelligence organizations, CIA, FBI, ASIO, etc. Valuable lessons of self-restraint. Relief from problems. Discharging nervous energy. Security checks. Last minute escapes. As in an explosion, I would erupt with all the wonderful things I saw and understood in this world. Boris Pasternak

The Caution: Suppressing stress or illness. Doing inappropriate things and thinking the secret safe. Repressing emotions. Undefined anger. Pressure cooker energy that needs to be released slowly. Explosions damaging more than expected. Activists. Deception behind one’s back. Clash of ideals. Terrorism.

The Quest Degree for Venus is Aries 15: AN INDIAN WEAVING A BLANKET IN THE LIGHT OF THE SETTING SUN

Venus symbolizes: Relatedness, cooperation, what attracts you. The experience of sweetness, beauty or delight. Social interactions, love, friends, how you reach out to people. Feminine persona, relationship with mother and females. Money, possessions, sense of values.

Mars is on Sagittarius 30: THE POPE BLESSING THE FAITHFUL – this is a very interesting Symbol in the light of all that’s going on in the world. It’s almost as if one has to bow and scrape to be noticed or thanked or to feel that one’s efforts are recognised. Of course, it can bring up issues to do with receiving (and holding) the care and affection from another – we may feel that we are often left out, not ‘blessed’, etc. The following degree in Capricorn is much more about standing up and being counted and being an autonomous individual.

This Symbol shows being present, on-board and ‘there’ for people when they need it. The “Pope” instills hope and a sense of wonder; he is said to be a representative of God on earth. Blessings come from worshipping a higher power with people of like mind. This shows that people will dispense rewards upon those who are eager to receive from them. This often shows a spokesperson that will be heard by everyone. Show respect and reverence to others, as this will lead to rewards of their own. This can show someone having a powerful memory; they remember the faces and names of people and often have a powerful presence and charisma.

Keywords: Rituals of reverence, blessings and worship. Sincere interest in others. Being on the inside looking out or being on the outside looking in. Recognizing the source of enormous inner riches. Rewards for loyalty. Seeking support or recognition. Eye-toeye contact. Being remembered. Charisma and presence. Having an audience with someone.

The Caution: Overwhelming political or spiritual rituals. Lust for power. Negating, projecting and transferring one’s shadow onto others. Not taking responsibility for one’s actions. Begging people to dispense favors. Sucking up to be accepted or recognized. Manipulating for desired ends. Nervous reaction to power or position. Demanding obedience. Lording it over people. Leaving people out that don’t measure up or conform. Having people at one’s beck and call.

The Quest Degree for Mars is Capricorn 1: AN INDIAN CHIEF CLAIMS RECOGNITION AND POWER FROM THE ASSEMBLED TRIBE – this is a rather powerful degree, and, it speaks of finding a true sense of one’s power. I have often seen the ‘assembled tribe’ as showing the various and disparate parts of our own personalities: Sometimes we need to gather together our thoughts and feelings, ambitions and desires so that they’re all working together within our own being and not sabotaging our outcomes. Certainly, showing what we’re made of is definitely part of the picture here.

This shows the necessity or the ability to be strong, stand tall, be in charge and command respect. There are leadership issues that need to be embraced or addressed. Sometimes we need to rise to the occasion and take charge and this may lead to a struggle for control; you may have to remind those around you that you can be trusted to make decisions or lead others. Those above you may remind you of your lesser position in the scheme of things – are some jealous of your achievements and power? Know when to give way to the rights of others.

Keywords: Assuming authority and the need for it. Benevolence bestowed. Winning by charisma and strength of numbers. Finding a true sense of place. Signs that one should be in charge. Staking one’s claim. The ‘Claim of Recognition’. Respect. Having to stand up or stand out in the crowd. Having the charisma of leadership. Consolidating power. Popularity contests.

The Caution: tripping and struggles. Over-inflated views of one’s self. The continual need to quieten power battles. Being challenged by those left and right. Demanding attention and that others follow orders. Taking over. Selfish and ego-driven. Too many chiefs.

Mars symbolizes: Drive, determination or agenda, how you get to your goals. How you express and handle anger, ambition, assertion of self and ability to step forward. The male principle, sexuality, the ability to step up to the plate when one needs to. Fight or flight.

Jupiter is stationary retrograde on Scorpio 24: CROWDS COMING DOWN THE MOUNTAIN TO LISTEN TO ONE INSPIRED PERSON

This implies having a message or the voice that others flock to in order to listen. Whether you are the “One Inspired Person”, or someone in the audience, you may feel that you have had some wonderful realizations after hearing inspired messages, from within yourself or from an external source, and now you need to bring these lessons or understandings down to an everyday level in order to integrate them into everyday life. People will have different responses to the messages given. Not all will be responsive, but the message will resonate with those that are meant to hear it. What will be done with this information and how far will it spread?

Keywords: Power to sway the feelings and thoughts of many. The ability to draw a large audience. The Jesus story. Giving one’s power away to those who apparently have more authority. Charisma. Having a large audience. The minds and the ears of the many. Oratory skills. Gurus. Listening. Ascending the mountain to acheive a purer state of being. Lecturing.

The Caution: Naiveté, gullibility. Feeling like someone else holds all the answers, but you don’t. Situations that smack of guru mentality. Idolatry and the manipulation that can result from it. Never knowing when to keep quiet. Forcing ideas on others when they don’t really want to listen. Not letting anyone else get a word in. Demanding attention. Feeling above everyone. Snobbery.

The Quest Degree for Jupiter is Scorpio 25: AN X RAY PHOTOGRAPH HELPS WITH THE DIAGNOSIS – although Jupiter goes retrograde on the degree before this degree, there will still be a very strong element of having (or having to have) an X-Ray vision… seeing into and through things, seeing past what’s being said and into what’s really happening. A LOT can be revealed if we choose to look beyond the obvious.

This Symbol shows being able to see into areas or realms that others generally don’t take any notice of. You may find yourself looking for a deeper understanding of situations and you need to peel away the layers in order to get to the truth of the matter. You may need to employ both the emotions and the intellect. Ask yourself: what do you want to find and what is being done to reveal the structure or the nitty gritty of situations? Looking inside for clues. Being able to see through layers into the reality of things helps you to be able to make a “Diagnosis” – dia which means “by”, and gnosis which means “knowledge”

Keywords: Penetrating insight. Piercing through external appearances. Pure understanding. Incredible insight and revelations. Having the eyes to see. X-ray machines, spying, detective work. Reaching conclusions. Evaluations. Photographs. Negatives. Radiation. X-ray vision. Expensive and up-to-date equipment. Chemotherapy. Mammograms. Scanning equipment. Finding causes. Paparazzi.

The Caution: Disregarding the flesh on the outside-the humanity of people. Invading other people’s psychic or intellectual space. Undressing or revealing people through subtle manipulation. Always being intense and dissatisfied with the easy, or obvious, answers.

Jupiter symbolizes: The big picture, expansion, exploration, aspirations, religious and philosophical ideals, issues to do with traveling, foreign lands, people and traditions, culture, education, generosity, luck, abundance, support, optimism. Insight through knowledge and wisdom.

Saturn is on Capricorn 9: AN ANGEL COMES CARRYING A HARP

This degree shows being able to care for others – being there when they need it. It also shows that “Angels” will come when you call on them, when you’re most in need yourself. You may be able to ‘tune in’ and radiate harmony around you, inspiring confidence and joy. This pictures care, generosity and a fulfilled selfhood. Inspiring people to do their best can bring rewards to all concerned. The trick with this degree can be sorting out whether to trust the ‘tune’ that others sometimes play. Following someone for the wrong reasons can just lead you astray.

Keywords: Demons driven away by music. Lifting faith and hope. Messages of peace from the other side. Having a message to spin. Being in tune, spiritually. Having an elevated view of humanity. Creating harmony. Blowing the whistle. Advertising. Salvation that arrives when most needed. Harmonics. Music and musical instruments. Visitations of spirit. Messages of love and hope arriving. Pulling on the heartstrings. Heavenly attunement. Beautiful tunes. Promises of redemption. Revelations. Plucking strings.

The Caution: Having a holier-than-thou attitude. Losing oneself in fantasy. Promising more than can be delivered. “Melodies” that deceive or lead astray. ‘Harping’ on things (dwelling on issues). Messages that deceive or lead astray. Playing a tune and expecting all to follow.

Saturn symbolizes: Authority, rules, discipline and obligation The heavy stuff. What we fear, loss, karma, aging, the establishment, orthodoxy, tradition, status, the concept of time, walls, boundaries, limits, older people, restrictions, patience, conquering difficulties.

Uranus is on Aries 27: THROUGH IMAGINATION, A LOST OPPORTUNITY IS REGAINED

This Symbol shows the talent or the ability to be able to use inner creative energy to revitalize ideas or opportunities that seemed to be lost. Whatever it is that you need to do, believe that it is possible and create an image in your mind and you will most likely succeed at gaining it or recovering it. Always take heart; there is energy here to recapture things that seemed to be lost. Visualizing what you want, allowing time and watching for it to manifest can bring astounding results. Sometimes, however, the “lost opportunities regained” are in a different form than we had first imagined. Creative imagination and visualization. Hope renewed. Second chances. Last minute reprieves. Being forgiven or pardoned. Imagineering. Making up for losses.

Keywords: Creative imagination and visualization. Hopes renewed when all seemed lost. Second chances. Last minute reprieves. Retracing your steps. Judging things to be positive when once they were thought to be negative. Being exonerated or forgiven. Pardons giving release. Imagineering. Retrieving things. Making up for lost ground or time. Changing your mind therefore changing your outcome.

The Caution: Relying on self-pity. Denying the imagination to recover the situation. Not noticing solutions to problems. Letting chances for recovery disappear through inaction or laziness. Going over and over lost opportunities. Finding it impossible to let go. Staring at loss and not realizing what one has.

Uranus symbolizes: The unexpected, things that are individual or ‘different’. Charged, energetic dynamics, electricity, light, lightning bolts, sudden changes, those who live on the fringe of society. Sudden turns and twists of fate. Rebellion, surprises, liberation, freedom.

Neptune is on Pisces 15: AN OFFICER DRILLING HIS MEN IN A SIMULATED ATTACK

This shows being well rehearsed, prepared and ready for anything that life throws at you. When you’re well rehearsed, you are able to spring to attention when situations warrant it. You may feel that you need to rehearse or prepare for difficult situations. There is wisdom in practicing to reduce the chance of error or failure. However, are you going over and over possible positive or negative outcomes thereby losing the joy that can be found in relaxing and letting down your guard? Sometimes the things we think are going to happen don’t happen at all. Choosing where, when and how to be ready and willing to go for objectives is half the battle.

Keywords: Taking orders to better respond to situations. The higher self training the lower self. Exercises. Marching and going through the motions. The need for defense. Seeing ahead. Planning strategies. Fire drills. Smoke alarms. Being prepared. Issuing orders and expecting them to be followed through. Discipline. Martial arts of all kinds. Going over and over possible outcomes. Safeguards put in place. Gas masks and bomb shelters.

This Symbol shows working together in a cooperative venture, to know when to go and when to stop, when to take the baton and when to pass it on, and how to pace yourself so you can stay in the “Relay Race”. Each person has to contribute as best they can; some run fast, some have their own talents, some trip you up and cause you to falter. Working together, you can figure out who will help win the race and who wont. Sometimes, victory seems achievable, but you are likely to be a member of a team, with your own special task to perform. You may not be the one who crosses the finish line, but you may, eventually, share in the group effort. Just watch for when it’s your turn and when it isn’t.

The Quest Degree for Pluto is Capricorn 22: A GENERAL ACCEPTING DEFEAT GRACEFULLY

This Symbol shows being able to see where and when to “Accept” that things are not working and letting go of events or people or thoughts that no longer work for you. There’s times when we realize there is no longer any point in fighting and to ‘win’ in some situations may be impossible. At the time of surrender, it is the valor of the battle and the way you handled it that will be remembered. Sometimes, it is how gracefully you handle defeat that will be the measure. You will go onto other endeavors and win. You don’t always have to “Accept Defeat”: sometimes you have to accept your own victories.

Keywords: True inner worth. Being a “good loser”. Learning that every minor skirmish in life is not a major ‘Defeat’. Being prepared to start again. Sacrificing things for the benefit of others. Nobility of character. Letting go of the “charge” around anger. Surrendering. Knowing when to let go.

The Caution: Being a “bad loser”. Feeling everything is going to come out badly. Reliance on self-limitations. Seeing the negative in everything. Losing what’s been worked for. Making excuses to get out of tight situations. Betrayal and loss. Loss of support. Surrendering too early. Giving up on life.

Chiron is on Pisces 29: LIGHT BREAKING INTO MANY COLORS AS IT PASSES THROUGH A PRISM

This shows analyzing things, considering and drawing conclusions from available data and being perceptive of colors, light refraction or reflection, auras and light. You probably have the ability to break situations down into the simplest components in order to see the full picture. This can and often does lead to a greater understanding of the relationship between the whole and the many parts. Just be careful not to overanalyze, thereby losing the joy that’s inherent in the simplicities of life. Taking a single vision and turning it into many individual streams can be rewarding, but it can also confuse and distract.

Keywords: Spectrum analysis. Color and crystal healing. Rainbows. Light refraction. Side effects. Considering many facets of a situation. Endless opportunities. Optics. Sight. Seeing. Copying and sharing ideas or things. Disseminating information. Auras and aura photography. Triangles. Polarization of light. Reflection. Laboratory tests. Diffracted personality.

Chiron symbolizes: Our wounds, Chiron is known as The Wounded Healer. The wounds are The Stories That We Tell Ourselves, it is where we have to focus on healing, it can show things that are out of shape or misplaced or in need of repair.

The Moon’s North Node is on Leo 15: A PAGEANT MOVING ALONG A STREET PACKED WITH PEOPLE

This Symbol shows situations where a lot of people gather together. It may be possible that some achievement has created a desire for a big celebration. Perhaps it’s a regular seasonal street festival that has brought all these people out. A sense of fun and give and take and feeling at one with people in a crowded street can bring new friendships, the chance to look at what’s on display, to buy food and goods and an opportunity to rub shoulders with others in a relaxed and friendly situation. People support each other and share in the festivities if they feel invited and included.

The Moon’s South Node is on Aquarius 15: TWO LOVEBIRDS SITTING ON A FENCE AND SINGING HAPPILY

This shows the need to enjoy relationships, to share in the joy and camaraderie that can come from being part of a couple, or enjoying your friends and their relationships. “Singing” and making statements about love can bring happiness to those nearby and lift the spirits of all involved. There may be a feeling of contentment, pleasure, commitment and enjoyment of your partnership. However, is this really based on taking an uninvolved or non-committed position – “Sitting on a Fence”? Perhaps you find it difficult to actually commit one way or the other. To choose invites risks of separation, but conviction probably eventually needs to be chosen or rejected.

Keywords: Faith in love. Waiting for signs. Friendship and companionship. Issues of “that’s them and this is us”. Fences, borders and barriers. Showing love for all to see. Commitment to relationship. Mating for life. The need for honest communications. Singing. Speaking one’s truth.

The Moon’s South Node symbolizes: Past karmic patterns to be overcome, can be habits that are good, but can describe things, relationships, issues that you need to let go of, or, hold you back from manifesting your true destiny. Relationships that feel karmic and difficult, memories from the past.
