November’s new Moon in Scorpio is a mixed blessing, as often happens, but, this one is another doozy. Occurring on November 7 in the US, and, November 8 in Australia, it has a lovely trine to Neptune, which can bring us into more of an alignment with our more creative and spiritual aspects, and, this trine can bring about some long needed changes, as we move towards more of what we want, instead of those things that we don’t. There’s a sense that the feminine is rising, and, we can see that in the women who are getting more and more involved with politics. It will be interesting to see what happens in the U.S. in the next few days. More women in government sounds like the way forward!

There is, however, a grand cross between Venus and Uranus and the Moon’s nodes. The Sabian Symbols are fascinating, especially the Moon’s north node on Cancer 30: A DAUGHTER OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, and, the south node on Capricorn 30: A SECRET MEETING OF MEN RESPONSIBLE FOR WORLD AFFAIRS. Of course, this week, just before the new Moon, there’s the midterm elections happening in the United States, and, although this won’t, perhaps, be such an issue for all my readers, most of my readers are from the U.S., so, I know that they are hanging on by their fingernails to the outcome of this election. The Moon’s north node moving into Cancer could ratchet up the notion of homeland and patriotism, and, lately, more talk of ‘nationalism’.

Uranus has *just* slipped back into Aries, and, is on Aries 30: A DUCKPOND AND IT’S BROOD exactly squaring the nodes. This speaks of revolutions, and, a desire for change, along with family, yes, and, also, nation and nationhood, and the issue of who ‘belongs’ and who ‘doesn’t’. Of course, Uranus on this degree can bring up issues of division and separation. Hopefully, things will settle down and goodwill towards those that are ‘different from us’ prevails. Meanwhile, there’s an Asian duck in New York’s Central Park. Click here to read about it. Ha, Uranus on the Duckpond degree.

Venus, retrograde, completes this grand cross, at Libra 27: AN AIRPLANE SAILS HIGH IN THE BRIGHT BLUE SKY. Venus, opposing Uranus and squaring the nodes, is bringing up a lot of issues to do with the ‘feminine’, and, there’s that record number of women running in the U.S. midterm elections, and, there’s a bugle call to the feminine to rise up, to take more of the rein, to be seen and heard. Evading issues doesn’t work so well now, but, we might find it best to send out to the universe our call for what we want to manifest, and then, sit back and rise above things that disturb or rile, or upset us. A healthy sense of disconnect can be just what Venus is asking of us just now. Even if only for a short while. Venus here, especially retrograde, can observe, take in and process if there’s a sense of ‘space’ around issues or people or events.

Giving relief to the big grand cross, there’s a lovely, and, powerful, trine from Jupiter to the nodes, so, it really helps to see things improving, and, moving forward in the way you would prefer, perhaps way more than the way they’ve been going lately. However, Jupiter is on Scorpio 30: CHILDREN IN HALLOWEEN MASKS PERFORMING VARIOUS PRANKS, and, we might be concerned about being misled, lied to, tricked, cheated, etc. Having said that, this can be a time of great ‘unmasking’, especially with Jupiter here, and, about to move into Sagittarius. A great deal more lawsuits and indictments are likely as Jupiter moves through Sagittarius over the coming months.

Our thought process might not be all that clear with all that’s going on, especially as Mercury is largely unaspected. Mercury will, in the coming weeks, move into it’s retrograde position, and, will be squaring almost exactly Neptune when it goes retrograde. So, a sense of fuzziness may be around, and, there might be some unclear or contentious outcomes that could have some hanging in the air for some time. Mercury goes turns stationary retrograde on November 17, so, it’s a while off, but, we may be feeling like it’s already solidly kicked into it’s retrograde (with no aspects at this new Moon, and, moving into a closing square with Neptune).

I won’t make any predictions about the outcome of this midterm election in the States, but, I just hope that people get out and vote! The Moon’s node on Cancer 30: THE DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION does not have to mean sticking with the old and outworn. Revolution is afoot, hopefully, and, hopefully, a lot of it positive.

New Moon:   Nov 7, 2018   4:01 pm GMT

The new Moon is on Scorpio 16: A GIRL’S FACE BREAKING INTO A SMILE – the following is from my book – The Sabian Oracle: 360 Degrees Of Wisdom– –

Commentary: ‘A Girl’s Face’ is shown ‘Breaking into a Smile’. She may have been facing a dilemma, or seriously contemplating something. Now, there has been a breakthrough, and her ‘Face Breaks Into a Smile’. By the mere change of her facial expression, her whole demeanor has shifted. We ‘Break Into a Smile’ when we choose to invite others to come closer to us. If we can’t see another’s ‘Face’, we make all kinds of assumptions about what’s going on in their minds – most often the wrong kind – often based on our own mindset. Road rage and email misunderstandings happen because we’re not able to read each other’s ‘Faces’. People bumping into each other in the street when walking don’t become nearly as enraged as they do when they are driving cars. This is largely because people exchange looks of apology and forgiveness, and all is forgiven or forgotten.

Oracle:
There may be a need to lighten up. ‘Smiling’ not only makes us feel better, it makes others feel good as well. As happiness boosts the immune system, things are bound to turn around through showing a positive attitude. Many things can be gained through ‘Smiling’, including getting your own way. There’s the ‘Smile’ we have when we’re genuinely happy, or the ‘Smile’ we have when the “penny drops” and something is realized or understood. A ‘Smile’ may show a quiet, inner knowing, such as when you know more than what is being said or when you have an intuitive sense of what someone really means. True ‘Smiling’ can be infectious, with others responding in the same way. If you are inviting a relationship, or trying to heal one, ‘A Smile’ can be a great icebreaker. Others want to see you happy, calm, accepting or welcoming. In this context the ‘Smile’ is a response to others and shows evidence of your empathy and desire to find a positive, warm, friendly outcome. Try doing it more and see how you feel.

Keywords:
Breaking the ice. Drawing others. Radiating happiness. Facial expressions. Changing one’s expression or demeanor. Facial feedback. Making positive eye contact. Transferring feelings that lift others. Releasing stress, worry and anger. Distances bridged between people. Being face-to-face. Teeth, lips, gums, dimples, eyes. Facial lines. Dental work. Beauty that radiates.

The Caution:
False happiness to satisfy others’ needs. Covering up how one’s really feeling through putting on a show of happiness. Lack of sincerity. Rigidity of responses. Sour faces. Feeling sad and lonely. Keeping people on the sidelines and the periphery of one’s life. Grumpy attitudes. Refusal to communicate.

The new Moon symbolises: The new Moon each month marks a time of new beginnings and realisations. It’s like a birth after a time of gestation or being ‘in the womb’. Here, the light begins to return and we can see new beginnings and possibilities. A new Moon means that the Sun and the Moon are both together – bringing a synergy of their energies together. The new Moon is a perfect time to set your intentions for the future. This period is wonderful for planting seeds of whatever kind. What do you want to manifest in your future? Whether you write it down, sing about it or just hold the thought forms in your mind, doing this at the new Moon can realise some fabulous results around the things that you want to draw into your life.

Mercury is on Sagittarius 9: A MOTHER LEADS HER SMALL CHILD STEP BY STEP UP THE STAIRS

This Symbol shows being able to lend a hand to those who need it, whether they are youngsters or not. It pictures situations where someone needs to assist those less able, experienced or indeed, less evolved, to overcome difficulties and to rise up and learn to cope, learn or understand. You may find yourself as either the experienced or the inexperienced or possibly finding the mother within you guiding your own inner child. It can also show someone caring for elderly relatives or friends. Whatever it is, one needs to have a sense of patience, caring and understanding. Lending a guiding hand to others is very important.

Keywords: The inner child. Guidance and acceptance of those not so “upwardly mobile”. Training. Careful consideration of others’ immaturity or failings. Staying with the family in order to bring up the children. Guardianship and stewardship. Reversals of roles. Supervising parents. Looking after the younger or the elder. Taking things one by one. Alzheimer’s disease. Handicaps. Step-by-step progress.

The Caution: Future vision and hope obscured. Exhausted by constant parental obligation. Not getting, or giving, the help that one needs. Being bossy and judgmental, thereby missing the joy inherent in the moment. Lack of supervision or training. Refusing to grow up. Wanting to be looked after.

Mercury symbolizes: Mind, thought, communication, memory, expression, intelligence. News, exchanges, chatting, conversations, short journeys, connections with others, telephones, emails, siblings, neighbors, the reasoning mind. Day-to-day activities. Cars, keys, small animals.

Venus is retrograde on Libra 27: AN AIRPLANE SAILS, HIGH IN THE BRIGHT CLEAR SKY

This Symbol shows the ability to transcend strife and rise above issues. You can feel above situations and are being carried away and beyond the mundane towards something completely new. You can sail above issues and avoid more everyday, down-to-earth problems. Having a calm, objective and somewhat detached way of observing life reveals a lot to you. Don’t, however, get so far above things that you feel removed entirely from what’s really going on in reality. This won’t help when you need to employ practical solutions or have a need to really deal with life and its ramifications.

Keywords: Transcending difficulties or escape from reality. Optimism that knows no bounds. A bird’s eye view of things. Detachment. Objectivity. Chemical influences. Freedom from life’s routine. Pilots and planes. Clear air turbulence. Roller coaster rides. Awareness of up and down, left and right, in and out. Sense of destination. Decreasing gravity. Acceleration of time. Fisheye lens. The need for navigation. Faith without works is like a bird without wings; though she may hop with her companions on earth, yet she will never fly with them to heaven. Francis Beaumont

The Caution: Difficulty seeing the details of what’s going on. Escape from reality. Running out of fuel. Egoism. Playing with gravity. Disconnection from the real world.

The Quest Degree for retrograde Venus is Libra 28: A MAN ALONE IN DEEP GLOOM. UNNOTICED, ANGELS ARE COMING TO HIS AID

This Symbol shows help, encouragement and assistance coming when one is most in need of it. There can be an inclination to depression with this degree, but it seems that, particularly if faith is employed, there is always some redeeming event or someone helpful turns up and the “Gloom” is dispersed and the light returns to one’s life; there is a realization that things are getting better. It will dawn on you that you are being helped in some way; ‘Angels’ come to aid those who need them. Don’t be afraid to ask for assistance. Have hope, faith, trust and work on changing your attitude and watch hope return.

Keywords: Feelings of not being alone. Awareness of spiritual help in times of need. Salvation versus depression. Feeling like one’s luck is about to change. Improvements in the pipeline. Changes in the “weather”. Helpers arriving just when they’re needed. Brightening influences. Angels and spiritual forces for good. Guardian angels.

The Caution: Unrealistic reliance on spiritual agencies or help from others. Feeling like no one cares or that no one is listening. Being alone and forgotten. Losing faith in things getting better. Refusing help. Misery and gloom and doom.

Venus symbolizes: Relatedness, cooperation, what attracts you. The experience of sweetness, beauty or delight. Social interactions, love, friends, how you reach out to people. Feminine persona, relationship with mother and females. Money, possessions, sense of values.

Mars is on Aquarius 26: A GARAGE MAN TESTING A CAR’S BATTERY WITH A HYDROMETER

This Symbol shows the need to pick up problems and diagnose what might be wrong whether it’s mechanically, physically, spiritually or emotionally. The “Car” can be a car, or it can be your body; your earthly vehicle, and it may need some “Testing” to see how it’s coping with life’s pressures. Perhaps you need to use some type of gauge on your emotional reactions. There is often a need to take a more intuitive or psychic approach to problems, although an objective or inventive view will also bring results. Figure out any malfunctions so your life can proceed in a smoother, more efficient manner. Performing necessary checks and balances to ensure your life is working properly are part of the everyday maintenance of society.

Keywords: Testing the earthly vehicle for its roadworthiness. Situations that have “boiled – over”, bringing all to a stop. Breakdowns and the need for repair. Checking water levels. Anticipating future problems. The need for good batteries. Cars being serviced. Oil, petrol and grease. Check ups and tune-ups. Bringing forward movement to a halt.

The Caution: Causing distress by constantly analyzing people or situations. Bad breath or dry skin. Not taking time for repairs or tune-ups. Running on empty. Not looking after your physical body and needs.

Mars symbolizes: Drive, determination or agenda, how you get to your goals. How you express and handle anger, ambition, assertion of self and ability to step forward. The male principle, sexuality, the ability to step up to the plate when one needs to. Fight or flight.

Jupiter is on Scorpio 30: CHILDREN IN HALLOWEEN COSTUMES INDULGING IN VARIOUS PRANKS

This Symbol implies that society needs to have an outlet for disruptive energies, and to have periodic displays of fun, even indulging in somewhat disruptive pranks. You may feel that the trickster in you needs to be let out every now and then, or you may be the focus of tricks by others. Whichever, it should be acknowledged that there needs to be an occasional outlet for immature or fun loving energies, as long as there’s no harm done. This Symbol can refer to somebody who doesn’t take anything too seriously. The time of Halloween is the time when the veil between the living and the dead becomes very thin.

Keywords: The madman inside all of us. Astro-drama. The lifting of the veil between the living and the dead. Unintegrated energies playing tricks on the unwary. Tricksters. Creative surprises. Halloween. Trick or treat. Practical jokes played on the unwary. Roaming the streets. Dressing up. Ghouls and ghosts.

The Caution: Being unable to connect with real and immediate emotions. Contempt for the establishment. ‘Mucking around’ and not getting to the core of things. Evading one’s responsibilities through being silly or madcap. Not respecting other people’s boundaries.

The Karmic Degree for Jupiter is Scorpio 29: AN INDIAN WOMAN PLEADING TO THE CHIEF FOR THE LIVES OF HER CHILDREN

This Symbol implies the need, or the ability, to be an advocate for the rights of others, particularly youngsters or children, and being prepared to engage with others in order to bring about a desired result. You may find yourself standing-up for those in your care, or for those who need your care, whether it is your children, your ideals or creative pursuits. Even if they sometimes deserve rejection, punishment or judgment, the solution will possibly be found not in being defensive as in simply asking for consideration, mercy and leniency. This can also show bringing a healing to others, whether it’s through their own actions or through finding the healers that are needed to affect a cure.

Keywords: Patterns of family dominance. Pleading one’s cause. Seeking love, mercy or forgiveness. Asking higher powers to step in, help or heal. Intercession. Counseling. Protecting the younger ones. Family law courts, magistrates, lawyers. Divorce. Young people taken seriously. Guilt and innocence. Weaving words to a desired outcome. Intervention. Schools. Juvenile delinquents. Being nailed for an offence. Speaking on behalf of others. Tribunals. Begging for mercy. Custody battles. Sexual discrimination. Advocates.

The Caution: Being dominated. Sacrificing one’s self for peace and quiet. Making a spectacle. Ramming one’s opinions. Going on the defensive. Bullying and browbeating. Harping on and on about things that should be forgiven or forgotten. Disruptive elements that get away with anything. Being expelled. Being made an example of.

The Quest Degree for Jupiter is Sagittarius 1: RETIRED ARMY VETERANS GATHER TO REAWAKEN OLD MEMORIES

The Symbol shows reunions and gathering together with people who have shared histories, struggles or issues. A reunion can ignite feelings of camaraderie, companionship and triumph, sometimes along with great passions. As these are “Retired Army Veterans”, it’s through the passing of time and with the hindsight of age that many things can be faced, healed and laid to rest. In going over the memories of ‘old battles’ you may find the clues for current ones. However, this degree can show going over and over old hurts, injuries, diseases, etc. The trick also is not to see others as the ‘enemy’, but rather see in everyone the possibility of friendship.

Keywords: Masculine domains. Understanding the individual’s needs and idealistic struggles. Moratoriums and calls for peace. Past life memories of fellowship. Prisoners of war. Memorials to war. Bringing up painful memories in the hope of sharing understanding and healing. Tears of the past. Being confronted by memories. School, and other, reunions. Talking over strategies. Finding comrades. Brothers and sisters.

The Caution: Being unable to let go of the past. Exaggerating past successes to justify current strategies. Excluding others as being “unworthy”, having not experienced the struggle or pain. Going over things from the past and never letting them go. Boasting and glorifying. Identities that belong in the past. Prisoners of war.

Jupiter symbolizes: The big picture, expansion, exploration, aspirations, religious and philosophical ideals, issues to do with traveling, foreign lands, people and traditions, culture, education, generosity, luck, abundance, support, optimism. Insight through knowledge and wisdom.

Saturn is on Capricorn 6: TEN LOGS LIE UNDER AN ARCHWAY LEADING TO DARKER WOODS

This Symbol shows being able to get past obstacles, to continue pushing forward even when events or people stand in your way. Sometimes, however, you may not know where you’re heading – is this the usual path or are you heading off onto a new one? One that’s more mysterious? You may feel as though you’re on a path that is difficult and mysterious. You may need to prepare for a journey into the unknown; it’s likely to be an important journey, one of destiny, but at times you may not know where it is leading to. Learning to be well prepared is part of the trick, as is the need to create some safeguards before continuing into the unknown.

Keywords: Journeys into the unknown. Getting past the past. Tenacity, stamina and energy preservation. Things to consider before moving deeper. Thresholds, ‘Archways’, entrances. Dark forests. The unknown and the “unknowable”. Delving into the subconscious. Memories that lead into deep or strange places. Gateways. Fallen trees.

The Caution: Fear of the untrodden path. Being afraid to make a move. Things blocked or obstructed. Getting lost in something and not knowing how to get out. Looking for directions that are obscure or concealed. The constant need for a ‘guide’.

The Karmic Degree for Saturn is Capricorn 5: INDIANS – SOME ROWING A CANOE WHILE OTHERS ARE DANCING A WAR DANCE

This degree shows the need to bring stability and calm to situations, whilst continuing to “Row” in the direction you’re meant to go. Sometimes we’re just rowing our boat and someone wants to upset it, or, they are in our environment trying to drum up trouble or antagonize others. This shows the choice: row the boat or be on the defensive. Someone may solve situations with aggression. However, at the right time, showing one’s strength can work in your favor. Aggression isn’t really the answer, but, to make a show of your position and the effort you will make to defend it, will ultimately win respect. Keep rowing, and head towards your desired destination.

Keywords: Some getting on with their lives whilst others are not. Vehicles of discovery versus arguing and bickering. Threats and intimidation. Making a show of power and mobility. Cooperation bringing release from difficulties. Mobilizing forces. Psyching oneself up. Group efforts. Traffic.

The Caution: Making one’s case whilst having to be continually on the move. Being emotionally charged. Arguments and bickering that halt forward movement or growth. Intimidation. Moving targets. Superficial shows of strength for display purposes. Making a lot of noise. Pulling faces. Gestures that threaten. Accepting no opposition to progress. Aggression. Divergent motivations leading to confusion. Road rage.

The Quest Degree for Saturn is Capricorn 7: A VEILED PROPHET SPEAKS, SEIZED BY THE POWER OF A GOD

This degree implies disseminating information or knowledge; there are messages and they are coming from a deep source, or, from a place of authority. Still, it can be difficult to know whether it’s always the truth that is being spoken or that’s coming through. Look carefully for the signs – is it truth that you are being fed? With such power in one’s words, we have to be careful about what we say as well as what we hear. This energy can be used for the good of all involved, or it can just lead people astray. Something to watch out for is blind acceptance of things you see or hear. This is a very powerful degree.

Keywords: Hypnotherapy or hypnotic suggestion. Manipulation of lesser beings. Having insights that transport to other levels. Channelling and mediumship. Translations. Prophets and bringers of messages. Empowerment. Messages erupting. Speaking. Announcing. Bearing important news. Power. Charisma. Veils. Background voices.

The Caution: Conscious manipulation and propaganda. Not owning up to all the elements of one’s personality. Denying expression. Blurting out things that hurt or alienate. Barging into other’s conversations. Leading people astray with exaggeration or lies. False impressions.

Saturn symbolizes: Authority, rules, discipline and obligation The heavy stuff. What we fear, loss, karma, aging, the establishment, orthodoxy, tradition, status, the concept of time, walls, boundaries, limits, older people, restrictions, patience, conquering difficulties.

Uranus is retrograde on Aries 30: A DUCK POND AND ITS YOUNG BROOD

This Symbol speaks of families, being with and caring for youngsters, and caring for each other. Sometimes, there can be a feeling of being restricted and bound in by reality, but then there’s often also a feeling of being safe. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves of the comforting things around us. Finding friends or family that enrich our life can lead to a sense of community, belonging and love. Although you may sometimes wish for more exciting adventures – it feels good to have a place to hang one’s hat and people and a place to call one’s own.

Keywords: Nurturing family. Contentment. Realizing limitations. Reliability. The problems and joys in the responsibilities of having a brood to look after. Finding friends or family that enrich one’s life. Psychoanalysis. Family patterns and analysis. Family support. The family sphere. Feeling safe in one’s environs. Being the mother duck. Adoption and foster families. Communes and communities. Facing the music that you’ve composed.

Uranus symbolizes: The unexpected, things that are individual or ‘different’. Charged, energetic dynamics, electricity, light, lightning bolts, sudden changes, those who live on the fringe of society. Sudden turns and twists of fate. Rebellion, surprises, liberation, freedom.

Neptune is retrograde on Pisces 14: A WOMAN WRAPPED IN FOX FUR

This shows being able to present an image that shows intelligence, cleverness, glamour and beauty, along with knowing how to move in social circles. The “Lady Wrapped in Fox Fur” is someone who’s sure of themselves, able to bend to situations and have situations bend to their own desires. It often shows getting out of, or into, anything they want. You can present an image that enhances your position in society. Intelligence and wit will probably see you through, with others noticing your beauty, grace or intellect. If, however, the guise was stripped away, would you still express the same qualities? You may have to display your capabilities because of negative prejudice, chauvinism, or being underestimated.

Keywords: Outer expressions of real inner worth. Animal magnetism and attraction. Intelligence and its display. Cloaks of feminine wit and sexuality. Beguiling minds. Animal totems and furs. Perceived beauty. The sense of having class and money. Beauty, fashion and talent. Being forward and upfront. Sense of personal style. Grace and composure. Elegance. Knowing what to say and when. Dressing up. Money spent on beauty. Tempting others with sexual signals. Perfumes. Pheromones. Taxidermy.

The Caution: False fronts and expressions of wealth. Selling out. Scoring points through charisma. Doing anything to win social position, money or fame. Under or overdressing.

The Karmic Degree for retrograde Neptune is Pisces 13: A SWORD, USED IN MANY BATTLES, IS NOW IN A MUSEUM

This shows knowing when to stop battling in life, when to lay down one’s “Sword” and take up a higher position that reflects a more intelligent or spiritual way of being in the world. Sometimes, when reminded of the battles of the past, we are influenced towards actions that ensure peace. We are uplifted by the symbolic memory of past deeds of valor, although stings of defeat may be part of the story. You may be faced with the choice of fighting or reasoning which is confused by your lack of training or experience in the ways of “Battle”. Don’t go down with the ship. It helps to lay down one’s ‘sword’ – not in order to surrender, but to stop the ‘warring’

Keywords: Willpower. Martial arts. Putting aside thoughts of vengeance and revenge. Hanging up or laying down one’s ‘Sword’. Trophies of conquest that remind us of the past. History. Aging and maturing. Retirement. Remnants of battles. Souvenirs of the past. “Words as swords”. The Spear of Destiny. The Sword Excalibur. Disarming weapons. The search for truth and justice. Suits of armor. Peace at last. Sexual impotence.

The Caution: Lack of sensitivity. Pretense of one’s abilities. Falling on one’s sword from defeat. Sexual impotence. Domestic violence. Giving up. Grudges. Wanting to go into “Battle”.

The Quest Degree for retrograde Neptune is Pisces 15: AN OFFICER DRILLING HIS MEN IN A SIMULATED ATTACK

This shows being well rehearsed, prepared and ready for anything that life throws at you. When you’re well rehearsed, you are able to spring to attention when situations warrant it. You may feel that you need to rehearse or prepare for difficult situations. There is wisdom in practicing to reduce the chance of error or failure. However, are you going over and over possible positive or negative outcomes thereby losing the joy that can be found in relaxing and letting down your guard? Sometimes the things we think are going to happen don’t happen at all. Choosing where, when and how to be ready and willing to go for objectives is half the battle.

Keywords: Taking orders to better respond to situations. The higher self training the lower self. Exercises. Marching and going through the motions. The need for defense. Seeing ahead. Planning strategies. Fire drills. Smoke alarms. Being prepared. Issuing orders and expecting them to be followed through. Discipline. Martial arts of all kinds. Going over and over possible outcomes. Safeguards put in place. Gas masks and bomb shelters.

The Caution: Rigid routine for no real purpose. Overreactions. Seeing threats or attack everywhere. Going over things too much. Not knowing what to do or how to act. Drills.

Neptune symbolizes: Mystical, “out there,” spirituality and con artists. Dreams, mysteries, mystics and religious issues. Intuition, clairvoyance, seeing into the invisible. Addictive, chaotic, charming, deceptive, illusory, co dependent, sensory awareness.

Pluto is on Capricorn 20: A HIDDEN CHOIR SINGING DURING A RELIGIOUS SERVICE

This Symbol shows singing, playing or enjoying music, and, also, to be able to pick up on things that others don’t see or hear. The “Hidden Choir” brings songs, or sounds, with messages of salvation and faith. The fact that they are hidden shows something coming out of the background, something subtle, something others may miss. It can be important to be receptive to your feminine, intuitive side, as there are messages to be heard. Realize that you are not alone; there are other people who feel the same things. Watch out for mental noise. The voices of the women heard more through orthodox halls. Do you want to contribute?

Keywords: Background messages. Voices not heard or noticed before. Men, women and the church. Sensitivity to spirituality. Speaking behind closed doors. Voices from “nowhere”. Melodies from the past. Choirs, organs and organ music. Channeled voices. Songs, sheet music. Hidden speakers. Clairvoyance.

The Caution: Taking undue credit for group qualities. Keeping the feminine out of the picture. Discriminating against people as not being “spiritual” or finding that some just plain aren’t! Background voices telling people how they should live. Using hidden messages to manipulate people, sometimes through guilt. Gossip. Messages that don’t make sense. Being afraid to sing.

The Karmic Degree for Pluto is Capricorn 19: A CHILD OF ABOUT FIVE CARRYING A HUGE SHOPPING BAG FILLED WITH GROCERIES

This Symbol shows having to “Carry” heavy loads, to shoulder responsibilities, do chores and jobs and help others, sometimes because there’s no one else who can or will do it. Often, the “Child” gets these responsibilities because they are the one who others know is going to take it seriously, completing the task, taking care of details. You may feel that you have been burdened with responsibilities beyond normal expectations and possibly beyond your capability. Despite being keen and enthusiastic, you must be careful not to try to take on too much, or do too much, or too quickly. Like a child, you need to play, be creative and rest.

Keywords: Being the one everyone counts on to do the job. Feeling weighed down. Having to carry the “bag”. Lifting heavy weights and bearing the consequences. Taking on things above and beyond what one should. Acting the grownup. Maturing quickly. Looking after paperwork. Running errands. Providing food and sustenance for everyone.

The Caution: Overloading the innocent and the inexperienced without thought of the consequences. Taking on too much. Not allowing for fun and carefree activities. Never being “off-duty”. Joint, back and shoulder problems. Growing up too fast. Having a serious attitude. Lack of childhood. Dropping the bundle. Carrying the family’s responsibilities.

The Quest Degree for Pluto is Capricorn 21: A RELAY RACE

This Symbol shows working together in a cooperative venture, to know when to go and when to stop, when to take the baton and when to pass it on, and how to pace yourself so you can stay in the “Relay Race”. Each person has to contribute as best they can; some run fast, some have their own talents, some trip you up and cause you to falter. Working together, you can figure out who will help win the race and who wont. Sometimes, victory seems achievable, but you are likely to be a member of a team, with your own special task to perform. You may not be the one who crosses the finish line, but you may, eventually, share in the group effort. Just watch for when it’s your turn and when it isn’t.

Keywords: Shared endeavor. Knowing when to hand on responsibilities. Teamwork. Knowing when to finish. Encouragement and trust. Sharing and cooperation. Inheritances. Timing. Being competitive. Taking turns. Handing on responsibilities. Split second timing. Hand eye coordination. Having an on/off switch.

The Caution: Not letting go of control to another . Feeling defeated through feeling that you don’t have the necessary resources to win. Criticism and competitiveness. Acting only for one’s best interests. Competitiveness in inter-reactions and conversation. Butting in when others are talking. Expecting others to do all the work or carry responsibilities. Not sharing the glory or the rewards.

Pluto symbolizes: Unconscious motivations, depth psychology, history. Sex, procreation at a deep level, intensity, profound emotions, taking hold of one’s power. Being king or queen of one’s underworld. Strength, survival mode instincts. Big money. Big power. The Plutocracy. Power vs power struggles.

Chiron is on Pisces 29: LIGHT BREAKING INTO MANY COLORS AS IT PASSES THROUGH A PRISM

This shows analyzing things, considering and drawing conclusions from available data and being perceptive of colors, light refraction or reflection, auras and light. You probably have the ability to break situations down into the simplest components in order to see the full picture. This can and often does lead to a greater understanding of the relationship between the whole and the many parts. Just be careful not to overanalyze, thereby losing the joy that’s inherent in the simplicities of life. Taking a single vision and turning it into many individual streams can be rewarding, but it can also confuse and distract.

Copying and sharing ideas or things. Disseminating information. Auras and aura photography. Triangles. Polarization of light. Reflection. Laboratory tests. Diffracted personality.

The Caution: Locked in to a set of parameters. Over analyzing things. Being blinded by ambition. Daunted by the task ahead. Mirages. Microscopes and binoculars but not seeing things as they really are.

The Moon’s North Node is on Cancer 30: A DAUGHTER OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

This Symbol shows the ability or the need to stand up for an ideal or a situation that demands your involvement. This could be about political or social revolution, or fighting to change the status quo. Relying on old traditions that were, in their day, radical and transforming, may no longer work. The difficulty is that these traditions are more predictable, conservative values that may no longer seem relevant to today’s needs and aspirations. Despite your inner feelings of modern freedom, you may come up against those that are more conservative and unmoving.

Keywords: Being bound by social conditioning OR leading the charge to break down the barriers of tradition. Putting in the time to change social conditions for the betterment of all. The feminist movement. Sacrificing personal conviction to ambition. Sacrificing philosophy to a relationship that builds the ego. Inherited values. Being the rebel in the family.

The Caution: Supporting battles that have already been fought. False feelings of superiority. Having to be “in the club” to be accepted. Narrow-minded conservatism. Glorifying the past. Relying on old traditions that were, in their day, radical and transforming. Rejecting one’s inheritance.

The Moon’s North Node symbolizes: This is known as quite a ‘karmic point’ (although all planets and points in a chart can be ‘karmic’). One’s destiny in this life. The things you are meant to integrate, move towards, become. Destined relationships and relationship issues can show up here.

The Moon’s South Node is on Capricorn 30: A SECRET MEETING OF MEN RESPONSIBLE FOR WORLD AFFAIRS

This Symbol shows meeting with others in order to lay out plans; to have “Secret” meetings of people, people that are often VIP’s in some way or, at least, in charge of decisions or governments or empires. The “Directors” meet, they conference or just conference call, exchange views, ideas, gossip. There may be decisions to be made or plans to be laid out. Do you make all your decisions on your own, or do you need help? You can often call on the relevant knowledgeable friends or authorities, as you’re bound to know them or how to meet them, and you’ll iron out the details. Sometimes, however, you may feel shut out by those “in charge”.

Keywords: Sharing innermost secrets. Confidential information. Masterly control. Big guys calling the shots. Being too busy to see people of “lesser” importance in your life. Rationing time. Governments and secrets. Spies. Privy Councils. Planning and plotting. Having a say in things. Doors. Whispers. Records of meetings. Important meetings. Boards of directors and secretaries. Conspiracies.

The Caution: Excluding some. Exploiting people or situations. Elitism. Being controlled by those above. Decisions made behind closed doors. Dark rooms and huddled people talking. Concealing the truth from others. Cliques and committees. Suspicions of motives.

The Moon’s South Node symbolizes: Past karmic patterns to be overcome, can be habits that are good, but can describe things, relationships, issues that you need to let go of, or, hold you back from manifesting your true destiny. Relationships that feel karmic and difficult, memories from the past.
