[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text title=”Astrology of this Lunar Cycle”]February’s solar eclipse on Feb 26 2017 (2:57 pm GMT) is an annular one (not a total eclipse), so, it is not a particularly powerful one. But in terms of the planetary energies we are experiencing, we are likely to be feeling it very acutely. An annular eclipse occurs when the Sun and Moon are exactly in line with the Earth, but the apparent size of the Moon is smaller than that of the Sun. Hence the Sun appears as a very bright ring, or annulus, surrounding the dark disk of the Moon. So, although we know that this is not a strong eclipse, per se, we are bound to be sensing it.

This is a very Piscean solar eclipse. We have Mercury, the Moon’s south node, the Sun, the Moon, Neptune, Pallas Athena and Chiron all in Pisces. In amongst this, Neptune is rather tightly conjunct (together with) this new Moon. This can bring up idealisation, dreams, fantasies and nightmares. It seems that many people don’t know if they are coming or going; seeing things correctly or making things up, dreaming of reality or illusions, hoping for the best, but often, seeing the worst in what is going on.

Another major feature of this solar eclipse (new Moon) is the fact that Mars and Uranus are exactly conjunct (on the same degree, in Aries), this can bring up issues to do with sudden shocks, realizations, worry, nervousness and what’s-going-to-happen next. Mars and Uranus conjunct, especially in Aries, is an aspect chock full of rather difficult to handle energies, and, we are likely to see events, both outwardly and inwardly, that can have us reeling. It doesn’t have to be that shocking, though, if we hang onto our inner sense of equilibrium, and, don’t listen to the voices that can have us feeling off-center. Also, on top of that, in the days leading up to this solar eclipse, Mars and Pluto are square to each other, adding to the  sense of anger, powerlessness, dismay at what is happening on a social and political level, and, it ramps up the feelings of frustration and confusion about where the world is heading. This is not only showing itself in US politics, it is evident in the politics that we are seeing worldwide. Divide and Conquer is the maxim being used just about everywhere, and, it is divisive, hurtful and angry making. People are tired, worn out, worried, talking about what’s going on and feeling disenfranchised in many parts of the globe (and, for many reasons).

Aspecting Uranus, Mars and Pluto (not to mention Eris) is Jupiter in Libra in a very powerful t-square, and, if one throws the asteroid Vesta in there, we have a tight grand cross. This can bring up conflicts about whose word is ‘law’, who holds the answers to what’s going on, and, it can bring up arguments, division and problems. As it is, we are seeing an enormous polarisation between issues to do with authority versus freedom, and, for many, it can be very distressing. However, Jupiter can also bring breakthroughs in understanding, and, illumination can result from looking at core issues, and, remembering the human component involved in what’s going on, along with endeavouring to acknowledge of accept contrary points of view. This is not always easy in the current climate, but, holding a sense of the diversity of humanity and people’s natural reactions, we can at least get a sense that others see things differently.

Mercury is conjunct the Moon’s south node. This can have us wanting to, or having to, revisit situations, relationships and memories from the past. We may get a sense that we need to have a revolution of some kind in our life – as if, after diving into something from the past, we can see where we need to make adjustments, or, just let go of something that no longer works for us. Realizations can come from insights that can lead to resolutions to do better, be better, or, finally complete something that’s been hanging in the air. Lilith in Sagittarius is also exactly square the Moon’s nodes and Mercury – forming a t-square that brings up more of the us and them mentality, especially around women’s rights and issues.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1484031645493{margin-top: 20px !important;margin-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text title=”Working With The Lunar Energies”]The new Moon each month marks a time of new beginnings and realisations. It’s like a birth after a time of gestation or being ‘in the womb’. Here, the light begins to return and we can see new beginnings and possibilities. A new Moon means that the Sun and the Moon are both together – bringing a synergy of their energies together. The new Moon is a perfect time to set your intentions for the future. This period is wonderful for planting seeds of whatever kind.

What do you want to manifest in your future? Whether you write it down, sing about it or just hold the thought forms in your mind, doing this at the new Moon can realise some fabulous results around the things that you want to draw into your life.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row column_padding=”5″ parallax=”content-moving” full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1484031667129{padding-top: 60px !important;padding-right: 40px !important;padding-bottom: 40px !important;padding-left: 40px !important;background-color: #f7f7f7 !important;}”][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Astrology Forecasts and Readings” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:center|color:%23404040″ use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1485655134848{padding-bottom: 10px !important;}”][vc_column_text align=”center” css=”.vc_custom_1434539588856{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text disable_pattern=”false”] The new Moon is on Pisces 9:  THE RACE BEGINS: INTENT ON OUTDISTANCING HIS RIVALS, A JOCKEY SPURS HIS HORSE TO GREAT SPEED – the following is from my book The Sabian Oracle: 360 Degrees Of Wisdom  –

Commentary: ‘The Race Begins: Intent on Outdistancing His Rivals, a Jockey Spurs His Horse to Great Speed’ is an image of competition, speed and excitement. The ‘Jockey’ has one goal in mind; he is ‘Intent on Outdistancing His Rivals’.

Oracle: The race is on and you may feel that you are near the finish, but there is no guarantee of victory. Although it is time to extract all available energy possible into the situation, make sure you’re not expending it too quickly and not really getting anywhere or achieving anything of lasting value. Be careful not to bolt out of the gate without thought of the ramifications. Watching your competitors brings some reassurance regarding your position, but you can’t always be looking around, you have to get on with the job at hand. What can you do in this situation to ensure “the win”? Wanting to be better and faster and wanting the prize can lead to incredible feats and accomplishments, and this is to be admired and praised. What efforts will push you further, faster, than the rest of the field? Having a one-sighted goal of winning the race can lead to a wonderful victory. However, it can also bring a kind of addiction to outdo others. It can lead to wanting, and needing, to win regardless of the cost. This can alienate you from others, especially if attention is always solely on the goal of winning. Be wary of expending your energy too soon as it can lead to running out of steam before the finish line. Being ‘Intent on Outdistancing’ one’s ‘Rivals’ can also lead to feelings of wanting to outdo your own efforts again and again. Seeing your goal and heading straight towards it can see you taking first place but how’s your training for this situation? Have you done the groundwork in order to compete?

Keywords: Competitiveness and high ambitions. Wanting to win, sometimes against the odds. Losing and gaining weight. Weightlessness. Racing to be first at things. Demanding quick flight. Bolting out of the gate. Aggressive desires. Exhilaration. Wanting to better oneself. Being on the home run. Speed and the need for it. Facing forward with great intensity. Rivals and competitors. The value of training. Horsemanship. Discipline. Energy poured into the drive to succeed. Starting whistles, pistols or lights.

The Caution: Galloping at full speed prematurely. Being too ambitious. Ruthless measures. Jumping the gun. Doing anything to win or succeed. Being pushy or single minded. Running out of steam before the finish line. Weight dropping off too quickly. Sabotage or blocking other’s efforts. Reigning in energy at the last moment.

The Moon symbolizes: Emotions, moods, mother, family, clan, domestic issues, relationship to home and country. Feelings, sentiments, nourishment, emotional nurturing, monkey chatter mind, lunar and menstrual cycles, clarity of emotions or lunacy. Female energy – yours and others.

Mercury is on Pisces 2: A SQUIRREL HIDING FROM HUNTERS – Mercury here can have us feeling that, with the slightest movement, we might find ourselves under attack, or involved in an argument, or, we might be concerned about environmental issues, especially the senseless killing of animals for sport. More than that, though, I sense that with the divisive nature of society that we’re seeing nowadays, many are either angry about what’s going on,  afraid to speak up, or feeling as though they are one of the lesser players in the games of life that are unfolding.

This shows being able to sense when to move and when to stop, to be out in the world or “Hiding” away. There can be a heightened sense of awareness or alertness, and, possibly, an ability to hear or perceive subtle things in the environment. There may be aggression in the air with you probably one of the smaller players. You may feel threatened which can come from out of the blue. Not watching the news or avoiding negative stories can be one way of “Hiding”. To be cautious is wise, but hiding can lead to missed opportunities for nourishment. Be wary of being bullied or “holed-up”.

Keywords: Using tactics to ensure survival. ‘Hiding’ one’s self away. Not stepping out into the big wide world for fear of making the wrong move. Security systems. Caution and reserve. Using commonsense. Things or people that feel tiny, uncertain or insecure. Refuges and the need for them. Staying out of people’s way. Staying home. Locks and keys. Stockpiling for harder times.

The Caution: People picking on each other. Being bullied out of what you deserve. Giving those “out there” more power than they warrant. Not trusting life. Paranoia. Running away from things. Not wanting to go out and socialize. Truancy. Not speaking up for fear of being shot down. Threats of terrorism. Having to lie about one’s whereabouts. Not answering the door. Being caged in. Agoraphobia. Claustrophobia. The NRA.

Mercury symbolizes: Mind, thought, communication, memory, expression, intelligence. News, exchanges, chatting, conversations, short journeys, connections with others, telephones, emails, siblings, neighbors, the reasoning mind. Day-to-day activities. Cars, keys, small animals.

Venus is on Aries 13: A BOMB WHICH FAILED TO EXPLODE IS NOW SAFELY HIDDEN FROM DISCOVERY – Venus is sitting on this degree for several days as it’s about to turn retrograde. This gives this idea of having to ‘defuse’ issues and situations a much stronger emphasis. Do you, or does someone else, have something to hide? Something to cover up? Something to let go of, perhaps?

This Symbol shows that explosive elements need discharging. Pressure cooker energy needs to be released, but it often needs to be done slowly and carefully. By keeping a sense of control, one can handle wild situations, elements or people without things getting out of hand. Be an example to others of how calmness and quiet can take the charge out of things. Take whatever opportunities you can to defuse elements as an explosion often damages more than is expected. You may have to hide something away so things don’t get crazy, but with some careful thought, all should be well.

Keywords: Pressure valves. Getting away with something. Tantrums and frustration. Tempers that simmer. Explosive behavior. Bombs, explosions. Sudden and forceful events. Intelligence organizations, CIA, FBI, Mossad, ASIO, etc. Valuable lessons of self-restraint. Relief from problems. Discharging nervous energy. Security checks. Last minute escapes. False-flag events.

The Caution: Suppressing stress or illness. Doing inappropriate things and thinking the secret safe. Repressing emotions. Undefined anger. Pressure cooker energy that needs to be released slowly. Explosions damaging more than expected. Activists. Deception behind one’s back. Clash of ideals. Terrorism (or, the threat of terrorism.

The Quest Degree for Venus is Aries 14: A SERPENT COILING NEAR A MAN AND A WOMAN – Venus goes retrograde on this degree on March 4, taking us into a period that many call ‘forty days and forty nights in the wilderness’. Even though Venus retrograde can feel difficult or odd or alienating, things may not be all that dire as this can be a positively good period; we are having another opportunity to sort out our relationships, and, how we relate with people. We may experience new love, or, have an old lover or friend come back into our lives. The trick with this degree includes being able to see who ‘the other’ is, without prejudice, fear or illusions. Some relationships or friendships may be left behind in the next month or so and, this could be paving the way for better things in many respects, even if it doesn’t have us feeling particularly comfortable or secure.

This Symbol shows that there is likely to be tense emotion, particularly around relationships. There can be a sense of tension, fear and passion. Situations may arise where something or someone tries to come between you and a beloved. This can be a person, an event or an emotion. Jealousy, temptation, fear, resentment or separation can arise. You may need to learn to let go and find new depths to your ways of relating and relationships. Are you looking for, or have you found, your Garden of Eden? (Note: this is especially highlighted by Mars and Uranus conjunct on The Gate To The Garden Of All Fulfilled Desires).

Keywords: Enticement. Allurement. Revealing archetypal knowledge that may not be “socially acceptable”. Temptations. The Adam and Eve story. Jealousy. Sexual instincts. Life and death issues. Relating based on control. Kundalini energy. Realizing polarity. Individuation. Eating the Apple. The “knowledge of good and evil”. Having one’s eyes opened. Marking one’s territory. Snakes and snake energy.

The Caution: Feeling guilty. Being afraid to express one’s feelings. Basic instincts and sexual energy. The fear of knowledge, secret or otherwise. Using sexuality as a control device. Disgust or distrust of the body. Sexually transmitted diseases. Hiding nudity or sexuality. Being thrown out of paradise.

Venus symbolizes: Relatedness, cooperation, what attracts you. The experience of sweetness, beauty or delight. Social interactions, love, friends, how you reach out to people. Feminine persona, relationship with mother and females. Money, possessions, sense of values.

Mars is on Aries 22: THE GATE OPENS TO THE GARDEN OF ALL FULFILLED DESIRES – many are wondering where this ‘gate’ leads to. Where are we headed? Is there a ‘gate to the garden of all fulfilled desires’, or, are we looking at a strange pathway that leads to who-knows-the heck-where? Still, this is a beautiful degree, and, it is by making a decision to step into alignment with the things that you want that you can work towards that very end. As I often say about this degree, and the degree preceding it – the Boxer Symbol of Aries 21 – we can (or, perhaps have to) now step up to the plate and step through the gate.

This Symbol brings up fabulous opportunities and possibilities. You could find yourself in beautiful places with your desires met. There can be the promise of happiness; stability and feeling like you’ve arrived where you want to be. At times, though, you may be right at the point of what you want, but perhaps you need to make the deliberate action of opening the gate; admitting to your self what you want and where you want to be. Perhaps you need to knock, showing your intention of wanting in. Maybe you already have everything you need – look around.

Keywords: Craving happiness. Gardens and their treasures. Trellises and flowing plants. Pathways to bliss. Gates and doors. Unlocking and opening gates and doors. Analyzing your heart’s desires. The grass being greener on the other side. Rewards and treasures waiting. The allure of somewhere else. Initiations. Passages to a better life. Acquiring property. Sexual fulfillment. Opening up to life’s possibilities and rewards.

The Caution: Feeling or being shut out. Denying yourself the right to just rewards. Wild ‘goose-chases’. Being afraid of losing everything. Having everything, but wanting more. Things not being as real as you imagined. Feeling unhinged. Not having the materials to make dreams come true. Issues of possession that separate. Your cup being half-empty or half-full.

The Karmic Degree for Mars is Aries 21: A BOXER IS ENTERING THE RING – Mars is on this degree right before the solar eclipse, however, Uranus has been on this degree for months – both lately, and earlier in 2016 – highlighting this degree enormously.

This Symbol shows that there may be a temptation to take on issues, even to fight, but it needs to be with dignity and regulation. You may feel a need, or the urge, to step up to the plate and take something or someone on. There are rules to follow and often others will be end up being the judge of the final outcome. Make sure you possess the skills and training to defend what you believe. Remember that sometimes you need to back off if you’re not winning a contest. Question: is someone on the attack or the defense?

Keywords: Physical or psychological self – assertion and determination. Attack or defense? Fighting for emotional, psychological or physical space. Being seen as a person of strength. Throwing punches. Fighting on any level. Being prepared to take a swing at someone or something. Stepping up to the plate. Throwing down the gauntlet. Going after the title. Big vs. small egos.

The Caution: Using force or power to dominate people or those who challenge. Acting in a combative manner. Not displaying sportsmanship. Wanting to knock people out. Looking for combat. Throwing punches at anything. Belting, smacking, invading. Being punch-drunk.

Mars symbolizes: Drive, determination or agenda, how you get to your goals. How you express and handle anger, ambition, assertion of self and ability to step forward. The male principle, sexuality, the ability to step up to the plate when one needs to. Fight or flight.

With Jupiter here, we may see people just sounding off, making too much noise, or, perhaps there’s a need to wake up or to wake up others. Voices that are loud can be very grating, but, if things really need to be said, saying nothing won’t lead to breakthroughs. We just have to be wary of the ‘my views, my opinions, my beliefs are better than yours’. Jupiter retrograde on this degree can also show issues to do with the media, especially the excluding or banning of it in certain quarters.

Said a Rooster, “I’d have you all know I am nearly the whole of the show; Why, the Sun every morn Gets up with the dawn, For the purpose of hearing me crow!” Ethel Watts Mumford

This Symbol shows enthusiasm, joy, confidence and the desire to greet each day with the anticipation of new opportunities. It is true that each day begins the same – the Sun comes up, the world is still spinning – but what the day will bring always holds a bit of a mystery. This is a joyous Symbol of greeting and heralding the day, but there can be a blurring of the concept of whether the “Chanticleer” (the rooster), causes or simply heralds the new day. You may be blessed with the voice to speak of new developments, to make announcements and wake everyone up to the realities of life. Don’t make too much of a noise while doing it and you’ll rouse people around you to action.

Keywords: Anticipating new opportunities. Waking early. Being a morning person. Having a clear, beautiful or loud voice. Speaking up when it’s needed. Heralding the new age. Seeing things ahead of their time. Being attuned to cosmic forces. Change or renewal. Always being on the go. Being eternally vigilant. Alarms that spur to action.

The Caution: Overstating ones role, talents or abilities. Needing a wake-up call (literally and symbolically). Crowing about things—disturbing others. Being noisy when others are trying to sleep. Being loud and irritating.

Jupiter symbolizes: The big picture, expansion, exploration, aspirations, religious and philosophical ideals, issues to do with traveling, foreign lands, people and traditions, culture, education, generosity, luck, abundance, support, optimism. Insight through knowledge and wisdom.

Saturn is about to go stationary retrograde on Sagittarius 27: THE SCULPTOR’S VISION IS SLOWLY BUT SURELY TAKING FORM – with Saturn sitting firmly on the degree of the Galactic Center (where, it is said, the Mind Of God can be accessed), how are we seeing our intentions, affirmations and desires taking shape? Is what you see in your everyday life living up to your expectations? With Saturn here, I feel that the collective energy of healing could well bring about a shift in energies – something it seems the world really needs now.

It may be that our role on this planet is not to worship God but to create him. Arthur C. Clarke

This Symbol shows being able to project one’s visions, thoughts or ideals out into the world so that they take form and come into conscious manifestation. This is the degree of the Galactic Center and it holds an enormous charge of energy and power, something not to be taken lightly. There is a responsibility inherent in this for you to understand that your thoughts will take shape, so be careful about what you think! You may find yourself in situations where you can manipulate events into something of value and lasting integrity. Slow, painstaking work will bring rewards as things come to fruition. You are able to project shape and form onto materials to have a desired outcome. Follow your “Vision”, be creative; picture an outcome and watch it materialize!

Keywords: Concrete creative manifestation. The Godhead. This is the Symbol of the Galactic Center. Creating the ‘Vision’. Evolution. Things going from crude beginnings all the way up to concrete outcomes. Sculptors and sculptures. Molding shapes and forms. Seeing and visualizing things ahead of their time. Sticking with the creation.

The Caution: Disregard of others’ needs. Unnatural focus on the goal. Being one-eyed about the outcome. Watching a situation, or one’s life “crystallize” into unbending shapes. Having one’s designs set in stone. Sitting back and thinking that things will just magically happen without any effort being made. Others believing they know what you should do or be.

Saturn symbolizes: Authority, rules, discipline and obligation The heavy stuff. What we fear, loss, karma, aging, the establishment, orthodoxy, tradition, status, the concept of time, walls, boundaries, limits, older people, restrictions, patience, conquering difficulties.

Uranus is on Aries 22: THE GATE OPENS TO THE GARDEN OF ALL FULFILLED DESIRES

The Caution: Denying your self the right to receive just rewards. The grass being greener on the other side. Always wanting more and more. Possessions owning you..

The Quest Degree for Uranus is Aries 23: A WOMAN IN PASTEL COLORS CARRYING A HEAVY AND VALUABLE BUT VEILED LOADjust a day or so after the solar eclipse, Uranus moves onto this degree, bringing with it a rather heavy feeling of having to carry a load, possibly feeling weighed down and having too much responsibility. This feeling is also magnified by Pluto’s placement (see below).

Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This Symbol shows issues of going to a great deal of effort to conceal from others things that are very important. This could be heavy responsibilities that have been placed on you. You may feel that you have succeeded in shouldering these burdens without others knowing, but in fact it may be apparent to others in the way the burden of your secret is affecting your behavior. It may be necessary to share the load. Are you truly participating in life? Do you always put on a happy face regardless of what’s going on? Wearing black versus pastel colors.

Keywords: Privacy. Quiet determination to get on with the job. Mild manners. Carrying more than one’s share, gratefully or grudgingly. Shouldering problems. Bad backs. Victim status – poor me! Secret pregnancies. Doing overtime. Heavy loads. Smiling against the odds. Pastel colors. Codes of silence.

The Caution: Covering something up. Trying to conceal distrust. Keeping one’s thoughts and emotions locked-in creating ill health and disease. Fading into the background. Not being noticed or recognized. Feeling weighed down with shame, loss or humiliation. Wearing dark clothes. Dressing in order to cover up. Being the family scapegoat. Heavy karma.

Uranus symbolizes: The unexpected, things that are individual or ‘different’. Charged, energetic dynamics, electricity, light, lightning bolts, sudden changes, those who live on the fringe of society. Sudden turns and twists of fate. Rebellion, surprises, liberation, freedom.

Neptune is on Pisces 12: AN EXAMINATION OF INITIATES IN THE SANCTUARY OF AN OCCULT BROTHERHOOD – who is ‘examining’ or question who? Is everyone living up to their promises, ideals, etc?

To avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, be nothing. Elbert Hubbard

This Symbol shows passing the tests that life, other people, spirituality or karma throws at you. You are likely to find at times that you are being judged by those above or around you. It is difficult to see what their qualifications to judge you are, but this is often the nature of progression through the ranks. People being critical of one another can lead to better behavior, better performances or the like, or it can lead to feeling judged, violated and intruded upon. It can seem as though our lives are like lessons; we are periodically “Examined” to see how we are doing on our course. Be careful not to shut yourself away to avoid being seen or having to endure criticism.

Keywords: The ordeal that comes to any initiate for entrance into higher realms of being. Hermits. Tests, examinations, having to prove oneself. Being judged or being judgmental. Being crossexamined. Rarefied atmospheres that demand personal sacrifice. Initiations. Proving courage and purity. Trials. The attainment of knowledge. Apprenticeships. Being a candidate. Finding out how and where one fits in. One-eyed dedication. Trial by media. Cults. Rituals.

The Caution: Refusing advice. Arrogance. People saying “I told you so”. Invading other’s private space. Hiding away because of fear or social ridicule. Severe trials and tests that strip the joy of life. People assuming they know the truth about others. Fear of failure. Not living up to other’s expectations. Narrow mindedness. Harsh treatment. Going without.

Neptune symbolizes: Mystical, “out there,” spirituality and con artists. Dreams, mysteries, mystics and religious issues. Intuition, clairvoyance, seeing into the invisible. Addictive, chaotic, charming, deceptive, illusory, co dependent, sensory awareness.

Pluto is on Capricorn 19: A CHILD OF ABOUT FIVE CARRYING A HUGE SHOPPING BAG FILLED WITH GROCERIES – this degree, particularly with Pluto on it, can show people taking on roles and responsibilities that are way above their ability to perform. It can also show having to shoulder the load for others.

A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five. Groucho Marx

This Symbol shows having to “Carry” heavy loads, to shoulder responsibilities, do chores and jobs and help others, sometimes because there’s no one else who can or will do it. Often, the “Child” gets these responsibilities because they are the one who others know is going to take it seriously, completing the task, taking care of details. You may feel that you have been burdened with responsibilities beyond normal expectations and possibly beyond your capability. Despite being keen and enthusiastic, you must be careful not to try to take on too much, or do too much, or too quickly. Like a child, you need to play, be creative and rest.

Keywords: Being the one everyone counts on to do the job. Feeling weighed down. Having to carry the “bag”. Lifting heavy weights and bearing the consequences. Taking on things above and beyond what one should. Acting the grownup. Maturing quickly. Looking after paperwork. Running errands. Providing food and sustenance for everyone.

The Caution: Overloading the innocent and the inexperienced without thought of the consequences. Taking on too much. Not allowing for fun and carefree activities. Never being “off-duty”. Joint, back and shoulder problems. Growing up too fast. Having a serious attitude. Lack of childhood. Dropping the bundle. Carrying the family’s responsibilities.

Pluto symbolizes: Unconscious motivations, depth psychology, history. Sex, procreation at a deep level, intensity, profound emotions, taking hold of one’s power. Being king or queen of one’s underworld. Strength, survival mode instincts. Big money. Big power. The Plutocracy. Power vs power struggles.

Chiron is on Pisces 24: THE TINY ISLAND SEEMS LOST IN THE BROAD OCEAN, BUT ITS HAPPY INHABITANTS HAVE CREATED A GREAT WORLD ALL THEIR OWN – with issues to do with refugees, immigration, border patrols, etc ,Chiron here is apparently working overtime. Having said that, we all need out place of sanctuary and escape, our ‘safe place’… our own turf.

This shows living with others, sharing the same space or efforts to create a happy life. The people pictured all live together and have “Created a Great World All Their Own”. No matter how well people get along, people still have to compromise and give and take in order to sustain good community relations. Drawn together by similar hopes and ambitions it is ironic that sometimes compromise is the only way to successful coexistence. Making the most of what is available, even though it is restrictive, will help dispel any feelings of being cutoff and isolated. Who are you comfortable sharing your space with? Who would you have sharing your desert island?

Keywords: Adaptability and cohabitation. People jammed in. Seeking others of like mind. Knowing a lot of people. Always considering others. Noise and light pollution. Feeling like new blood is needed in order to grow and flourish. Coexistence. Apartments. Living together. People moving in.

The Caution: Cutting off from those around. Not having enough privacy—or space. Things being kept too “all in the family”. No chance to be alone. Pollution and garbage. Crowding out people. Loneliness even amongst many. Being deserted and lost.

The Quest Degree for Chiron is Pisces 25: THE PURGING OF THE PRIESTHOOD – Chiron spent months on this degree in the middle of last year, as did the Moon’s south node in January of 2016.

This shows seeing through those who hold important positions yet abuse trust or those who make great claims but don’t live up to them. At this time, you’re likely to find yourself leaving others behind, kicking them out, or experiencing falls from grace. Periodically, there is a need to examine moral and spiritual sincerity. It is easy to allow those who don’t really belong to stay because of familiarity or habit. We can lose sight of the ideal through our rationalizing intellect, ego and emotive passion. There is a need to cleanse and purify your life, leading to better spiritual values. What side of the “Purging” are you on? Are you the one with the ‘right motives’? Who’s in charge?

Keywords: Revealing the truth of people for who and what they truly are. Cutting people off. Throwing out things that don’t measure up. Forced retirement and redundancies. Payouts at the end of employment. Dismissals. Opting out for moral reasons. Being fired. Holes left where someone took up a lot of space.

The Caution: Stressful battle over who’s in charge. Blackmail. The threat of being thrown out. Something being revealed. Evicting people because they deceive, lie or mislead or just because they’re not liked. Bringing somebody down. Scapegoating others. Corruption and scandal that threaten collapse. Wanting to appear to be doing the right thing. Coverups. The burning of books. Perversion.

Chiron symbolizes: Our wounds, Chiron is known as The Wounded Healer. The wounds are The Stories That We Tell Ourselves, it is where we have to focus on healing, it can show things that are out of shape or misplaced or in need of repair.

The Moon’s North Node is on Virgo 4: BLACK AND WHITE CHILDREN PLAYING HAPPILY TOGETHER – with events that are going on in the world, I don’t think that this degree needs much explanation. I will add that the ‘children’ – people in general – are either ‘playing happily together’ – or not.

. . . what I am is a humanist before anything—before I’m a Jew, before I’m black, before I’m a woman. And my beliefs are for the human race—they don’t exclude anyone. Whoopi Goldberg

This Symbol shows the integration of people of different races, religions, economic status or places. You may find people from different or seemingly disparate or separate areas coming into your life, making it richer, more rewarding and interesting. Prejudice of any kind, whether religious or race based, economic or class systems, is an illusion based on social perception and excludes people that could add to our lives. Social perceptions can color how we see others and these need to be put aside. Rather, it’s about embracing brotherhood and caring. The integration, acceptance and enjoyment of all people brings depth and meaning to life.

Keywords: Universal brotherhood. Overcoming prejudices and boundaries that separate people. Knocking down social barriers to relate freely. Being able to let go, relax and have fun with people from anywhere. Adopted siblings. Foster homes. Affirmative action. Trust and joy. Play that unites people.

The Caution: Morality that is swayed by public opinion. Not adjusting psychologically to situations that require creative responses. Racial and social prejudice. Seeing things in black and white terms. Social demarcations that separate people or situations. Apartheid. Illusions based on the separative perceptions of society.

The Moon’s North Node symbolizes: This is known as quite a ‘karmic point’ (although all planets and points in a chart can be’karmic’). One’s destiny in this life. The things you are meant to integrate, move towards, become. Destined relationships and relationship issues can show up here.

The Moon’s South Node is on Pisces 4: HEAVY CAR TRAFFIC LINKING TWO SEASIDE RESORTS – this degree can show traveling from one place to another, and, it can also show too much thinking, too much tooing and frooing….. in the brain, in the emotions, being stuck in traffic… etc.

I’m astounded by people who want to “know” the universe when it’s hard enough to find your way around Chinatown. Woody Allen

When everything’s coming your way, you’re in the wrong lane. Stephen Wright

This shows moving about, getting from destination to destination in a free flowing manner. Driving or flying or in a bus; there’s lots of activity going on. There’s also a need for space sharing, patience and give-and-take as people have their own needs. This can show communications and linkages between separate worlds leading to increased pleasure, OR, frustration, confusion or psychic indigestion and the need for a holiday. There’s a lot going on and confusion can set in if one doesn’t follow the rules to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Being ‘squeezed-in’ can bring a sense of panic but it can also bring pleasurable interchange between people and a chance to tune out.

Keywords: Going with the flow. Running back and forth. Having to move continually. Pollution and car exhaust. Rush hour and road-rage. Plans for arrivals and departures. Public holidays. Traffic jams. Traffic banking up. Having trouble making left hand turns. Detours. Packing and unpacking. Luggage. Travel itineraries. Impasses. Nervous systems. Urine therapy. Constant phone calls. Switchboard jams. Heat and smog.

The Caution: Distrust of connecting elements. Road rage. Traffic works. No time for leisure. Accidents. No escape. Creating barriers. Constant traffic stopping the possibility of real human interchange. Claustrophobia. Feeling like there is no escape. Exhaustion due to everyday hustle and bustle. Running out of fuel. Accidents. Taking the long way round. Blockages.

The Moon’s South Node symbolizes: Past karmic patterns to be overcome, can be habits that are good, but can describe things, relationships, issues that you need to let go of, or, hold you back from manifesting your true destiny. Relationships that feel karmic and difficult, memories from the past.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]If you want to read up on all of the Symbols for this moon, including the Karmic and Quest degree, you can check out the Lunar Rhythms Report in our members section (just click on the January Full Moon from the section on the left) or become a member to gain access.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row column_padding=”5″ parallax=”content-moving” full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1484128063567{margin-bottom: 20px !important;padding-top: 60px !important;padding-right: 40px !important;padding-bottom: 40px !important;padding-left: 40px !important;background-color: #f7f7f7 !important;}”][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Do you like the Sabian Symbols?” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:center|color:%23404040″ use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1477128916093{padding-bottom: 10px !important;}”][vc_column_text align=”center” css=”.vc_custom_1434539588856{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]

  1. Another synchronicity, added to the Pisces bunch, my natal south node is on Pisces 9; the new moon happens there at 8am tomorrow morning (AZ time).. perfect Sabian symbol. I’m meeting with a realtor this week, for the first time, to begin the process of buying my first home. Pacing myself, and being calculating with my decisions, is the best advice I can receive- thanks so much for your help?
